Customer Review Summary

Smokey Bones Fort Wayne receives consistently positive reviews for its food and service. Many patrons praise the friendly and attentive staff, with specific mentions of Jaeda and Lauren providing exceptional service. The BBQ food, particularly the ribs and brisket, is often described as phenomenal, with nice portions and good flavor. The atmosphere is casual and inviting, though some noted minor cleanliness issues like sticky floors. Jaeda provided exceptional service and a friendly atmosphere. For this being my first impression of Smokey bones I can definitely say that I’ll be back. The food tasted phenomenal and the beverages were great. Fair pricing and definitely worth stopping in to dine.

Smokey Bones is hands down one of the best BBQ spots I’ve ever been to! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome and seated right away. Our server was friendly, attentive, and gave great recommendations. I went with the ribs and brisket combo on the pic two option, and it was absolutely incredible! The ribs were fall off the bone tender, and the brisket had the perfect smoky flavor. The mac and cheese was creamy and rich. What really stood out was the attention to detail. The staff checked in often to make sure everything was perfect, and the food came out fresh and hot. You can tell they take pride in what they do. It was an all around fantastic experience, and I can’t wait to go back. If you love BBQ, Smokey Bones is a must try! I can’t wait to go back 😍

I think maybe Indiana isn’t known for amazing Barbecue, that being said, this place is decent. The service is good for the price point, the food is edible and the atmosphere is better than most. Very casual feel and menu has plenty of options. Was seated fairly quickly (5 minutes) but they weren’t busy at all, probably a quarter of the tables had guests. I won’t be in the area long so I will not be returning, however if I lived in the area, you could do a lot worse.

Took to visit Smokey Bones and enjoy some of my favorite food, BBQ. Service was nice, atmosphere was okay (the floors were sticky) and the tables were mostly clean. The food arrived in pretty decent time, but it lacked flavor. Coming from a guy who has spent his life in the south, smoking/grilling meats, I can find what's missing. Overall, it's good place to enjoy a meal, but for this guy it wouldn't be a place I would be hungry for. Bree was a nice waitress and made sure we had everything. Oddly enough the one thing my wife and I discussed that was exceptional was her French fries and my baked potato, and they were loaded with salt.

Tiffany did a great job taking our order promptly and the food came out quickly. Just as good as it always is here.

Busy on a Friday night for dinner as expected. Not long of a wait though. Nice place to go if you're looking for somewhere nice but not too dressy of a place. Food was awesome and had large portions. The staff was very friendly and the waitress was very nice and attentive though busy. The atmosphere was nice too. Though busy it wasn't really loud and had good music playing. It was also a kid friendly place though they have a bar. Only recommendation is to add a few more choices to the menu and not so many BBQ sauce/rub foods though I know this is their specialty. Large portions make up for part of the price but it is a bit pricey in case you're in a budget. I would highly recommend Smokey Bones though to anyone and definitely will be back.
