Ruth's Chris Steak House

First experience at Ruth Chris. Beautiful place we sat by the fireplace it was really nice. Drinks were superb. Our waiter was spot on. My only disappointment was I ordered the tomahawk at 149.00 it was flavorful but with my disappointment it was TRULY half fat for that amount of money I should of been very pleased at what was given to me. Live and learn next time I will order the filet like the rest of my table. Sides were delicious.

I would go broke eating here but this is a place to go to every couple years. (Update 02/15/2025 Valentine's date night visit) My wife and I had an amazing dinner that night. We got sat almost immediately and we were given plenty of time to make our dinner choices. The music was relaxing and calming. I lost myself in the romantic atmosphere sitting beside my love of my life. I challenged the bartender for a lemon gin martini and it was very tasty. My wife had a raspberry drink that was very sweet that I couldn't drink, but rest assured she liked it. For the appetizer we had a oyster platter. My wife wasn't too sure about because she typically doesn't like oysters but this one she really loved. It reminded me of eggs Benedict but with oysters. So yummy! By 8 oz. Filet was a good cut and a perfect size for the meal. No need to upgrade to 11 oz unless you're planning on taking it home I opted to get the lobster however I thought the lobster was bland and could have used a little bit more spices. For dessert we had the chocolate cake. It was topped with a chocolate ganache that was rich with chocolate flavor and perfect with every bite. At the end of our dinner, I went to put my meal points on my Ruth's Chris app and found that I was able to get an appetizer for free due to a sign up bonus. I work downtown by the restaurant now and I think I will visit on Fridays when they're open sometimes. As far as stars go, The food stays at five stars, The service would be dropping down a star. The server was probably busy with bar back activities and I wish they had checked on our table a little bit more. Also, at a high-end restaurant like this, I expect the front of house manager to stop by your table and say hi and see how things are with our meal.,but they did not Lastly, I'm bumping up the atmosphere to five stars. They don't have Irish high step dancers, nor did they have any musicians at the time, but the jazz and the pop on the speakers added just enough ambiance to create a layer of gentle sound so your private conversations won't be overhead by others. I recommend this restaurant for well established relationships, expensive business dinners and to any foodie (single or otherwise) that wants to have a great culinary experience.

One of our favorite steakhouses! Service is always top notch, food is amazing, and the wine dinners are super fun. Can’t go wrong- consistently good regardless of the city.

Honestly this is the best steak house I’ve ever been to. Steak is out of this world, even heated up the next day it’s still fantastic! Wait staff is so knowledgeable and friendly! Desserts are insanely good! Sides are perfect. 10/10 recommend! So worth it.

My wife and I recently dined at Ruth’s Chris to celebrate our anniversary. We had big expectations based on what we knew…and Ruth’s Chris did not disappoint! Atmosphere was great - even placed red rose petals on our table - my wife was a big fan! Our meal was amazing - best steak we’ve ever had…and the cheesecake is amazing in looks and taste! Wait staff were all so friendly from the moment we entered the restaurant to everyone involved with getting us food. Very beautiful, best in class restaurant!

The steak was excellent. It was hot, juicy and tender. The salad was wonderful and the drinks were perfect for my Wife’s birthday celebration. Our waitress was very attentive to our dining needs and the restaurants atmosphere was a bonus.

Great restaurant. Our server Bryan was top notch very attentive made great recommendations. Beautiful establishment and the food was fantastic as always. Have never had a bad experience at the Ft Wayne restaurant. Love the special touch for our anniversary.

Came on thanksgiving. We ordered steak not Thanksgiving offering but did sounds good also :) you definitely need reservations on holiday but quick and easy to make. When we arrived table was ready on schedule. Food was good as always and service outstanding.
