Visited during Savor Fort Wayne and had one of the best dining experiences. My wife and I splurged and still were well within budget. The food was phenomenal and the only thing better than the food was the service - very friendly and informative. We are already planning a return trip. If you are like me and kept driving past Proximo while driving through the downtown, do yourself a favor and make plans.

The food was absolutely delicious, Nathan our waiter was excellent. The entire experience was amazing. The Care Package which is a special Old Fashion they make was excellent and it was the reason. I came back a second time. The pictures of the food speak for themselves. This has to be one of the best restaurants in downtown Fort Wayne.

What a great breakfast place! The food was wonderful with a twist of Latin American culture. Service was far and friendly. Make reservations because it is very popular. I had the garbage skillet and my wife had blueberry pancakes.

Food was delicious, and the cocktails are amazing. I had the Cassiopeia for my cocktail, and I had to order a second one because it was just that good!! I had the cubano for my entree, and it was great. The service was pretty good and even though we didn't have a reservation, they were able to get us in pretty quickly despite the fact that they were super busy. A great experience overall.

The shrimp and grits were creamy, with perfectly cooked shrimp, and just enough of a spicy kick. The atmosphere was watm and had plenty of privacy. Our server, Aaron, was top notch. He gave us excellent menu suggestions and was attentive without checking in too many times. Aaron had a very picky patron nearby to us who he handled with patience and kidness. I was very impressed with the professionalism of all staff while interacting with this person. I have already recommended Proximo to friends and family. Outstanding experience.

Wow! Delicious food and great atmosphere. I love that they actually have songs in Spanish and the food tastes like home to me. I definitely want to go back soon!

We had a nice lunch out on the patio, the service was excellent and the food was great! The tuna tiradito and street tacos really stood out. The tomato soup was also delicious and packed a pleasantly surprising spicy punch.
