About Kyoto - steak house in Fort Wayne, Indiana
Customer Review Summary
Kyoto restaurant receives positive feedback for its great service and friendly staff. Diners enjoy the fresh sushi made to order, delicious gyoza, and generous portions of steak hibachi. The tempura vegetables and fried tofu are praised for their perfect cooking, while the side salad is noted as refreshing. However, the spicy tonkotsu ramen has mixed reviews, with some finding it lacking in flavor compared to expectations. The restaurant is considered reasonably priced and fills customers up, making it a good value. Despite some concerns about the ramen menu being Americanized, many patrons express eagerness to return for sushi or hibachi experiences. Overall, Kyoto is described as a cozy spot with good food, friendly service, and a pleasant atmosphere.

Great service but she was very low in volume I strained to hear (too many concerts?) The food was very good, tempura veggies cooked perfectly, steak tender, daughter loved soup. Overall a good experience. Recommended.

My mom and i tried it out today and Diya was delightful! She was very friendly and has a beautiful accent! I ordered the spicy tonkotsu ramen and my mom ordered the Teriyaki vegetables. She got her Teriyaki sauce on the side and spice. We were able to add our own level of spice onto our dishes which we liked. We also got a plate of just noodles on the side that mom absolutely loved Mom gives a 4.5/5 for the noodles and vegetables when combined. The side salad that came with it was very refreshing! The tonkotau ramen in my opinion was mid(disappointing).. Ive had better. It was milky but it lacked that rich flavor you liok for in a tonkotsu broth. I typically finish the broth but i just couldnt with this one. At least they were genrous with the toppings and the chashu which i greatly appreciated. Not many places are willing to give out multiple large pieces of meat like that. 3/5. For all we got, we paid around $26 and it all filled us up. So id recommend this shop because it was cheap and an overall pleasant experience. The food is good overall and may jusy fill you up!

Yum! Fresh sushi made to order. The pan fried Gyoza is tasty. The steak hibachi is a generous portion. The employees are very nice. Highly recommended! Try it, you'll see.

I checked it out with my friend for dinner. Seat for 20 people tops. 2 people said it was good as I waited for my friend. Especially the clear soup. It was chilly Indiana day. My friend got the ramen and I got the habachi. Our food was super good. The ramen was delicious. My only flaw I found was pictures of bubble tea but it was in cans and not real boba. Looks like really good carry-out. Next time I might do that. My food was really good. The presentation was great. I would wish Bambu could send some taru that way and I would be a happy camper. Good food for NE fort Wayne. I could do it again. It was reasonable priced. I would come back for sushi or the hibachi

This is the only place I'll get sushi now that I found it. It's small with little seating, but comfortable. The service is great and the food amazing! I tried their spring rolls today and they were the best I've had ever. Fresh and so crisp! It's cheaper than most places like it but they seem to have fresher and higher quality food!

Ordered from door dash and it arrived with spaghetti noodles, not ramen. I was told when I called that is is the Americanized version. Maybe it should be called McKyoto. If you’re looking for ramen, this isn’t it. Wildly disappointing, especially after getting charged 17.00.

I ordered the Philadelphia roll for takeout. The only bad thing about it was I didn't order 2. I finished it in 5 minutes because it was SO GOOD. This was my first time here, I will be back soon.

Stopped in for takeout. Kyoto did not disappoint! I ordered the fried tofu, tempura veggies & shrimp & California spicy roll. The veggies were excellent & fresh & cooked to perfection. No sogginess, just Deliciousness!!!
