My husband and I arrived approximately 1 hour before closing. Upon entering , we were immediately greeted and given options for seating. Our server, Cara, was with us within a minute or so to get our drink order. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the overall condition of establishment inside and out was very appealing and well kept. The menu had many options from sandwiches, salads to filet mignon and a separate dessert menu of sweets from their bakery. Fresh baked bread was provided that was absolutely amazing. The quality and presentation of food was top notch. We were never rushed, and Cara was so attentive that we never had to ask for anything. The entire experience was perfect. Every restaurant should try to meet the standards of Halls Tavern of Coventry.

I saw this place earlier in the week, knowing we would be around over the weekend! The outside is what really caught my eyes! Love the look from the outside and interior! Let me tell you this establishment did not disappoint! First we started with the gumbo and french onion soups! It is not New Orleans but that gumbo was truly amazing as well as the French onion! Then we ordered the special black n blue ribeye, a regular ribeye, French Dip sandwich and sliders! Everything was cooked to perfection! The server was on top of everything and very timely! We had accidentally forgot our to go boxes and she rushed out to give them to us before we left! I highly recommend visiting this place!

Great tasty food and really nice atmosphere. Try the Ruben sandwich and strawberry fields salad with a margarita on the rocks, you won't regret it. Service is always wonderful as many times as I've been here and it's never overly crowded.

WOW! When I say this is some of the best prime rib I've ever had, I am not lying! So juicy, tender and full of flavor! Service was great. Food was delicious, fresh and hot. Will definitely be going there again when in Fort Wayne Indiana! ❤️

Worst experience ever. Pasta was over cooked ... steak was dry dry dry. Server never introduced himself nor smiled the entire time. Spinach and artichoke dip was great! I was expecting a better dinner and service for the price ...

Great service but prices and portions have drastically changed. We have gone to this Halls location for years and portions have always been good and prices were very reasonable. Lately the prices have increased to out weigh the decision to dine there as much. When a steak has gone from $20 to $36 it makes you reconsider where you spend your money. I used to purchase the Tavern Salad with Salmon Filet for protein, but the last visit I received a Salmon Finger! We may continue to go there for the delicious bread and an appetizer but we can spend $100 elsewhere and get a better meal for two.

My husband was in Lutheran ICU on a vent and not expecting to live. A couple dear friends took me to The Tavern to eat. They shared with the waitress, Brittney, why they brought me out to eat. She brings out a $25 gift card for me to use at a later time. I was so touched! I didn’t even know her! I will always remember her kindness. Today my husband and I came back here to celebrate him living. I found out Brittney was given that gift card as her Christmas present. What a wonderful gift to pass on. What a blessing to us. Be a Brittney ❤️

Came out to celebrate a birthday with party of 10 was crammed in a small place. Waitress was unfriendly the service sucked had to beg for water, refill and bread. When the food came half of it wasn’t cooked properly the other half was cold baked potatoes with butter that wouldn’t melt when I sent it back I was served a steak someone else had cut into several pieces. My steak was over cooked when the second steak came out it was chopped up. I told the sever I just didn’t want the steak so being petty the manager took off the steak but charged for the side salad ($6.00) I didn’t come for a side salad. My meal was to be a steak dinner which the salad was apart of. I’m very disappointed with the whole experience and I appreciate the management not coming out to address the issues.
