Arrived right on time for our reservation and stood there for a bit before anyone came to greet us. There were lots of staff going back and forth in front of us but no one acknowledged us - it seemed very weird on a Saturday night. Once we were seated, we sat there again with no one greeting us. The table next to us was seated and their waiter greeted them and got them water. It was 12 minutes before our waitress came to the table. For an “upscale” place this seemed like a very long time. There were several tables open and multiple waiters on the floor so they didn’t seem that busy. The clam chowder soup, crab cakes, steak & dessert were all good. They brought out the dessert to celebrate our anniversary which was a nice surprise. I was really grossed out by how dirty the ceiling tiles and vents were. I took pictures - so gross! I’d expect better in the front of a restaurant so it made me think the kitchen might be really bad. We went here because we had a gift card to use. Can’t say we’ll be back anytime soon.

3.6.2025. Visited Chops again this week for dinner and was very surprised by the increase in cost of the dinner menu. Dinner for seven people was very high and I was shocked. We're talking almost $500. The worst part is the food wasn't even up to the quality that I'm used to having at Chops. I ended up getting one of the New York strip specials. Coffee crusted strip with balsamic glaze. The flavor combination was very interesting and I enjoyed that but the steak that I ordered prepared medium was pretty tough. One other person in our party ordered this special and their steak was on the tough side as well. The Gouda mashed potatoes on my dish were very, very dry and just seemed like they had been sitting for a long time. We had a good time, memories were made, experiences were shared and we celebrated a couple of birthdays but I was just very disappointed in the bill and the quality of the food this time around. Now dessert! That's another story all together. The brownie and the strawberry cheesecake were out of this world. I have visited Chops several times for lunch and dinner over the years. They remain one of the best local restaurants with amazing food every time. Check out the specials they are always a treat! Most recently I had the special Club Chop salad. It was very good and as always I was not disappointed.

The worst dining experience I've ever had. An hour an a half for our meals to be served, and then served cold. The "excuse" by the manager: big party in the back. So, I guess our party of 9 isn't important. The correct answer is "we understaffed or overbooked what we could handle. I apologize. Let me give you a discount on your bill." Overpriced and the food was nothing special. First and last time at this dump!

The restaurant had lovely Christmas Decor. The food was good. The service was decent but had some areas of improvement. I really enjoyed the spicy beef egg rolls, and the NY Strip Steak was decent. While it wasn't bad as a foodie and steak connoisseur it wasn't the best I've had. I give it a 3.5/5.

My husband and I came in the day before valentines. We’ve been her numerous times. Not sure why our service was slow. It was dead in there. I ordered the pork chop with the carrots. The whole reason why I ordered the carrots. The glaze is delicious. Sad to say they was dry and burnt. Told the waitress. She had me scoop them onto a plate. I was under the impression that I was gonna get a new order. Come to find out they just put them back in the oven, which dried them out more and added more sauce to them and then brought them out. The whole reason I said something was cause they was burnt. You think with this being a nicer restaurant they would’ve done better.
