I wished I had taken a photograph of the meal, but I was hungry and forgot. Captain Ron sounds like a sea captain, but in reality it's one of the rare cowboy themed places in Fort Wayne IN. When we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by the owner, wearing his cowboy hat. Just as it should be, he was courteous and thoughtful, and made it a pleasure to eat as his establishment. I had a medium rare ribeye steak, and baked potato, they were delicious. I can tell he uses monteral steak seasoning which I have always liked, if you don't like it for any reason I would mention it before your food is cooked. I am not local to the area, but will stop by again when I am in town working. If your in the area, it is well worth the stop..

Stopped in tonight 11-20-2020 the bluffton road location, ordered 2 long islands and should have walked out after seeing the drinks. ordered 2 ny strips dinners cause they only had a choice of 3 cuts of steak thats all. was laughed at when i asked it to be cooked well done. no condiments other than steak sauce. old potatoes that tasted microwaved. ended up paying $45 when the dimmed lighted menu at the bar said $10 if paid by cash. I didnt see the poor writing that said sun-thursday. Never again will i spend any money here, ill drive to the northside of town. Had to carry out the steak and hope it wasn't to tough to eat at home with condiments. No wonder this place always looks dead. Someone needs to just fold there hand and close this place up.

Service was fast and friendly. The food was excellent and I recommend it. Don’t let the outside fool you and there is a dining room separate from the bar area. I got the ribeye, salad, and potato - cooked to order and delicious.

Went for the first time recently (on a Saturday) with friends. The steak was delicious (from Didier Meats) and perfectly cooked but, way too salty. There was no menu offered to us because the only thing being offered was steak. That's it. On a Saturday. You had a choice of cuts with potato and side salad but, that was it. I asked for steak sauce and, was told I didn't need it, to try it first without it. I'm not a child. Please just bring me the steak sauce next time and let me decide for myself. Other than that, the service was fine. There is apparently some work going on inside as evidenced by the plywood stacked and leaning along a nearby wall. There is also a piece on the bathroom floor that I almost tripped on because it's not flush with the floor. They need a sign up warning people as it seems that could be a liability if someone falls.

Wonderful steak. Captain Ron told us it is the "best steak in town" I can not say I disagree with him. Captain Ron cooks his steak with A LOT of seasoning. So much so that it visibly hurt his feelings when my wife and son asked for steak sauce. I myself loved the thick coating of spices. All though it was a little to intense for my 11 year old son and my wife. We went in to celebrate my son's 11th birthday. Captain Ron went out of his way to make him feel special. Captain Ron was even kind enough to give my son a T-shirt for his birthday. I absolutely love this place and will definitely be going back.
