We went for lunch during the week and we had a good time and the food was tasty . The service was great. The restaurant is spacious but can be pretty busy .

I’ve never been to a restaurant or any food establishment and got treated the way my family got treated tonight. My family made a reservation for a birthday dinner and after waiting a hour after our reservation to get seated we were asked to leave unexpectedly. The reason was NEVER explained besides the general manager saying “we can’t accommodate you”. This was after two hostess and waitresses already cleared off and rearranged tables for the party. After we were told to get from our table, they sat 3 other families in the same spots we were just at. Is this policy on how to treat a reservation party? Communication between the staff seemed to be nonexistent. From clueless servers to an even more clueless and unprofessional GM we WILL NOT put any money into this franchise or chain of restaurants associated with BJ’s Brewhouse. I will make ever effort to tell people how horrible our experience was tonight. We were left getting fast food down the street and getting treated better from a teenager making minimum wage rather than a staff full of adults. This location needs a new staff or shut down. Whatever comes first but corporate needs to do something.

If you like a bar atmosphere with overall better overpriced food, with a large menu to choose from.; then this is your spot to go to. The restaurant had a very tranquil atmosphere and plenty of TV’s to watch, and the servers were very kind though! but I just didn’t feel the complete satisfaction between the ratio of eating the food and seeing the bill at the end! (this was about $80).

Place was busy on a Friday night. We had reservations and only took an extra few minutes to get seated. Our waitress was on time and very attentive. Food was pretty good overall. Will definitely go back!

HORRIBLE! - absolutely horrible service. The management is pathetic. We were seated and waited TWO HOURS for food with our KIDS! And then the manager told us that we had to leave for no valid reason. The servers don’t know how to handle things well or accommodate groups of people. This is BY FAR the WORST experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I still can’t seem to wrap my head around being turned away after sitting and waiting for food we ordered, at a table we were seated at for TWO HOURS. Pathetic. This franchise will never get another dime from me or my family and I’ll be sure to tell people NOT to eat here or give this establishment their business. You’re better off eating at McDonald’s. Than this pathetic establishment.

My husband and I had never been to BJ’s Brewhouse, despite passing by numerous times, so today when we were looking for a lunch spot, we decided to give it a try. Upon entering, I was impressed with the atmosphere. We were seated in a booth for two, and given a menu. There were a lot of good looking drinks and desserts. We were both ravenous. I ordered a steak/shrimp combo with mashed potatoes and broccoli. My husband ordered some wings with a root beer glaze. We were really looking forward to it. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. The table next to us (a large party) received their food, ate, sat and chatted quite a while, paid and left. Still we sat and waited. The waitress brought us drink refills and said, “Sorry for the wait.” I took her acknowledgment as indication that our wait was nearly over. It wasn’t. About 90 minutes of total wait time, we finally opted to leave. Our waitress hadn’t been seen in at least 20 minutes and our hunger drove us out the door, disappointed.

What should have been a night of laughs and memories turned into a complete mess in the blink of an eye. My family was out celebrating my little sisters birthday, which she made reservations for. The Manger informed us our seats would be ready for 25 people. I told the manger that it is more than 25 and he said okay we will be able to assist and get it taken care of. Just to be escorted to our seats and there is not enough room for everyone, well we ask a couple of servers would we be able to get 2 tables that were empty, they just needed to be cleaned off. The servers said no problem and cleaned them off for us. So my Husband, myself and our 4 kids sit down and prepare the kids to figure out what they would like to eat. Well 5 mins or so goes by and the “General Manger” tells us that we have to get up and go to the waiting area because they have to accommodate for a bigger party. Remind you the seats were empty and we asked if they could be cleared off so we would be able to sit down. The General Manger is extremely rude, and needs a refresher when it comes to customer service and how to talk to people. He kept repeating himself saying the same things when we tried to figure out why we wouldn’t be able to sit down even if we are not with the original party. No real explanation was explained on why we had to get up, only he couldn’t accommodate for our party. Which is fine but even if we weren’t part of a party we are still paying customers. Soon after we were escorted back to the waiting area they filled our seats with a family that just walked into the restaurant. Mind you we were part of the reservation party and been there over an hour. Corporate needs to come take a look at how Fort Wayne BJ’s is being ran. The customer care from the waitresses was not professional. From the rude and sly comments, to the body language of not wanting to serve us. As a paying customer it is very disheartening to be treated without any respect. This will definitely be the last time my family steps foot inside of any BJ establishment, until there are new protocols to hold the people you hire accountable.

My wife and I decided to try this restaurant for the first time a couple of months ago. We waited for like 45 minutes which is normal on busy nights. We ordered Calamari and Avocado Egg rolls, which are amazing, for appetizers. Our server put our order in and came back and took our entree order. We waited for a half hour for appetizer to come out but the problem was our entrees came out first instead of our appetizer. We didn't say anything but the server felt bad so he informed the manager. The manager came out and apologized and took our appetizer off the bill. Which was awesome. We decided to try the Strawberry cookie ice cream dessert, which is also amazing! As we left we discussed the egg rolls and dessert were worth coming back. So we decided to come back tonight. A little longer wait this time. We waited close to 15 minutes for our server to come out and greet us. Keep in mind she had 3 or 4 other tables there and they haven't seen her for 15 minutes. She took our drink order. Almost a 10 minute wait for those to come out. Everything after that was a waiting game. We were their almost 2 hours waiting on our refills, food and bill. I know, "it was busy!" There were people coming after us and leaving before us. We ordered egg rolls for appetizer, a pasta and burger for our entrees and Strawberry cookie dessert. Nothing that should take that long. As we were waiting on our bill to come out the couple behind us had their entrees come out before their appetizers. Just like us our first time there. Our bill finally showed up just to be wrong. A beer was added to it and our Strawberry dessert was $27!!!! Which I believe it's only around $7 or $8. She fixed it. We are not going back. It's a shame because the egg rolls and dessert are so good.
