I came right when they opened on a Thursday morning and was seated right away. I ordered the Brussels sprouts to start and they came out very quickly. Shortly after, the steak and frites came out. The service was great and very quickly. The food was tasty and so was the drink I ordered. I highly recommend this restaurant whenever you are in downtown Evansville.

My wife and I were on a road trip and stayed a night in Evansville. We found this restaurant that was near our hotel. Both of our meals were fantastic! We had the Brussels sprouts which were delicious! I had a special smash burger, it was perfectly done and delicious. My wife had the steak frites, it was perfectly done, wonderfully seasoned, and visually perfect. The wines were very nice. We would eat there again.

Visiting from Portland, OR for work. Everything about this place was perfect. Burgers were absolutely killer, the service was top notch (shout out to Brie). The specials were actually special and amazing. We had sliced tomato for an app and the spicy peach and goat cheese smash burger. And then also the peanut butter bacon smash for good measure. 100/10 would recommend. Bonus points for having a spaghett on the drink menu.

4 stars because everything I’ve had here has been very delicious, well seasoned, cooked perfectly, cravable. I ordered a mocktail one afternoon and I still think about it it was so good. Took 1 star , almost 2, away because twice now I’ve ordered the seasonal vegetable and have been very disappointed by the portion size. It would be acceptable as a side for 1/2 the price, but as an app for $10?? Won’t be ordering again. Included a photo of the sweet potatoes that are on the February menu.

We were looking for a place to eat after a medical procedure and stumbled into Samel's. Boy, were we surprised and very lucky. We had a couple of side dishes and main course dishes. All were excellently prepared and plated. Tastes were huge. A totally unexpected experience. I can't say enough. Samuel's is a small bar that serves food and great food. If you ever have a chance to go to Samuel's, I highly recommend you go there. The staff was courteous and very friendly. We sat outside to enjoy the 80-degree weather. Got burger and fries…… the burger is good. they said they don’t have ketchup with carry outs, but they give me mustered or magnanse for a side for my fries. Makes no sense. Those aren’t hand cut fries they are also burnt. Told me should be 15 min. Then was 50 min.my girlfriend was upset about the time and also the fact we had no ketchup, we weren’t eating from home on a busy schedule. We probably won’t eat here again when we visit. $4 fries and they are all burnt

Some of the best food we’ve had! Drinks were well made. Smash Burger was cooked perfectly and was an excellent guilty pleasure! The spicy Chesapeake fries were superb. When we come back, we’ll be trying the truffle fries because they looked amazing coming out of the kitchen!
