Super cool and local spot. It feels like an old steak house when you walk in and they don't disappoint. The shrimp cocktail is fantastic, as is the salad bar. The prime rib with the creamy horseradish is a must have. The wine list is also good. They have a good selection, including the reserve list, at very fair prices.

The food was absolutely amazing. The staff is amazing super nice and helpful if you don't know what you want. The other customers on the other hand are rude, people need to do better. 10 out of 10 will be comeing back.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary today with lunch at Cork and Cleaver! It's a longtime favorite of ours, but I've never left a review. We made reservations since it's close to Christmas! I'm glad we did because it was busy. If you've never been, it's worth going just for the salad bar! It's our fave! Always very fresh, lots of toppings, and delicious dressings... one trip isn't enough! My husband ordered the fresh catch which was lemon pepper tilapia, grilled to perfection. It was served with the house specialty Sun Rice. I ordered the Santa Fe grilled shrimp with a baked potato. The shrimp were large and delicious, potato was perfect. We also enjoy the hot, fresh bread and butter. Our meal was perfect, and our service was impeccable! Kudos to Khierstin! She took such great care of us! Thank you so much! We're going to request her the next time we visit! For special occasions, this is a favorite choice for us! Make a reservation and book a cozy table by the fireplace! You won't be disappointed!

My girlfriend and I came over from Owensboro to try Cork ‘n Cleaver since we had a free evening. Here are my thoughts: -The building is cool. The parking lot was very dark. I feel like I smelled a faint cigarette-esque odor in the dining area (might just have been from the open kitchen). The manager/host was friendly and accommodating. The do NOT charge you extra if you pay with a credit card, which I liked. They also use cloth napkins, which is good at this price point. -Overall, the price you pay is higher than the quality of food you receive, in my opinion. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms, the 12oz prime rib, the asparagus, and the salad bar. The mushrooms had excellent flavor and texture; definitely a standout! The prime rib was an excellent quality meat, but the flavor was not very good (reminded me of roast/sausage-esque), and the au jus was definitely from a packet (or at least it tasted like it). To the steak’s credit, it was a perfect medium rare. The asparagus was literally steamed; no flavor, no seasoning, not even sautéed. The salad bar is fine as far as those go, but nothing to necessarily get excited about. It was $61 before tip for one appetizer and one entree. -The service was good enough, and although our waiter was informed and friendly, I could definitely tell he was ready to go home as he was pushing the table service along moreso than taking our lead. He was nice enough though; not bad. All in all, it was a fair experience; it just didn’t do anything for me honestly. They don’t have a closing time (odd) so either come early or make a reservation just in case.

We had reservations for four last night while in town for work. We were seated with Lisa and she could not have made our dinner more pleasing. She helped us with our meal choices and her attention to detail made for a wonderful first visit to your restaurant. I almost forgot the wonderfully stocked salad bar. Yum yum

The food presentation was the best. Everything looked wonderful. However I was not thrilled with their Reuben (processed meat and big mound of meat in the middle and nothing at the edges) and my friend sent the grilled chicken back. The waitress seldom came by and forgot my drink.

OMFG that prime rib though 😍🤤 this thing was a giant 1½" slab of cow cooked to perfection and absolutely melted in your mouth! I have paid over 3x what they charge for prime rib that wasn't even close to that good. Mad respect for whoever made me that fantastic meal! I am already looking forward to the next time I get to go! The only negative thing I can say, if I absolutely had to, is that the asparagus wasn't very good. Like at all, but I'm really picky about somethings.

This place was our first official stop in our eclipse trip to Evansville, Indianna. James was amazing at the bar, and we were able to get in and get amazing service, and exquisite food without reservations (keep that in mind if you look at this restaurant!) We stumbled upon it in a magazine at the hotel, was rated number one in 2023 and they weren't wrong. This establishment was classy, timeless, and has been around for a long time. 10/10 would definitely return if in the area, I mean, look at the menu. It is on a cleaver!
