They're trying. The atmosphere is nice but we walked in and there wasn't any staff to seat us. After a few minutes a waitress came out. Their menu is extremely limited and everything is al la cart. I was excited to get a good Chicago dog after years of living in the city but was disappointed by a dry bun, chewy dog and heavy hand on the celery salt. The Caesar salad was good but portions were smaller than expected for a dinner salad. I'll give them a few months and see if they improve. It's a good concept and I suspect they're just working to find the right rhythm.

I stopped in here for lunch. Craving a Italian beef sandwich 🔥 Dipped w/ hot giardiniera Pub chips were good & fresh as well. I want to go back to try more items on the menu. Looking forward to the grand opening and full menu release. Nice bar area with plenty of options. Including a wine, whiskey, bourbon selection. Service was good and the food came out lightning fast ⚡️

We made reservations for the day after Valentine’s Day. When we showed up, there were us (8 people) and another large group as well, unfortunately a group that came in earlier had added extra people, which caused them a delay on seating both parties, but maybe 10/15 minutes. The manager came out and apologized, even though it was only a few minutes. They let us sit in the bar, offered us beverages until they could seat us and then was overly accommodating after we got seated. Our food came out quick and it was hot and so good, I’m not sure about the other group, but our group couldn’t have asked for better service. We used to own a bar/restaurant and I know you cannot always control when people leave. The fact that they went over and above when we were seated just a little late, shows how dedicated they are to getting it right. Thanks Jacob’s Pub for a wonderful evening. Hope our server and bartender enjoyed the cookies♥️

The rice under the steak is really good. Steak was cooked well and tender. Not much flavor. Chili was great. Hamburger was dry not much flavor. Service was great. I love the ambiance. They have higher end meals and a nice assortment of comfort food. Coming back to try more.

Jacobs pub was amazing! Came for the cozy atmosphere and great pasta. Had the angel hair with meat sauce! It was amazing and a very large portion. Husband had the lasagna which was also really good. They were extremely busy and the waitresses were doing a fantastic job. We were in and out within an hour so i was very impressed.

Our server, Rachel, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensured everything was perfect throughout the meal. Service: Rachel was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Her recommendations were spot on, and her warm demeanor added a special touch to the evening. Food: The ribeye was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and juicy. It’s clear that quality and care are top priorities in the kitchen. Atmosphere: The cozy ambiance made it an excellent place to relax and enjoy a great meal. Food is consistently good, really good. Staff needs some work. Very slow service and it feels like you are inconveniencing them. Two of our three visits there was no background music. Our last visit we had a mix of heavy metal and Tom Petty. We really want a local establishment that makes really good food to successful, but need to improve on hospitality.

Jacobs Pub is absolutely amazing! The food I ordered was fantastic. Everything on the menu sounded fabulous. The service was outstanding and the staff was super friendly. If you are wanting great food and an awesome atmosphere to enjoy a meal, then Jacobs Pub is your place!!
