What an amazing place. I came here on my own and met so many people. The food and service is amazing and even without a reservation they got me a table quickly. The staff are very friendly and down to earth. Food is delicious as well as wine. Thank you

Excellent steaks in a historic setting. I had dinner there with my family and everyone loved it. The waiters were friendly and efficient, the room had a great atmosphere and the food was excellent. The steaks were cooked to the proper temperatures and came with a nice 'jus'. The portions were larger than expected so consider sharing. Make sure to try the desserts, especially the chocolate cake with orange.

We squeezed in a reservation right before our flight back home to Chicago. The prime rib was life changing. If your “love language” is steak, this is the place for you. It comes rare/medium so if you’re a well done steak lover you need not apply. Our server, Ryan, was very professional and attentive. The atmosphere and restaurant were exceptional. I will definitely be back next time I am in L.A.

Really enjoyed it here. Hard to say if it's 5 star...it was really good. Just not sure it was the most amazing place. Food was good if predictable. The overall experience was wonderful if you appreciate 1950's Hollywood vibe. Service was on point.

Historic upscale dinner spot. Highly recommend if you are looking for a great steak in the heart of Hollywood. Food is good, especially the steaks which they are known for. Escargot and Veal are must haves, if that's what you're into. Sorbet trio is a refreshing, unique dessert that really completes your meal. There was a note about gluten free options available. Service is attentive and highly professional. The atmosphere is old-fashioned, classic Hollywood vibes. You may recognize the bar or booths from various TV shows and movies. They do have Valet, with a back entrance, or you can try your luck with metered street parking. They validate if you valet. Buon Appetito, Piatto Pulito 😋

Known as the oldest restaurant in Hollywood, we ate here to celebrate a birthday and I’m so glad we did. The food was amazing and our waiter was incredible. The wedge salad was delicious and their lamb special was incredible. But my favorite was their cottage fried potatoes. They were to die for!! What an amazing experience - We even got to see Taron Egerton while we were here (he’s even cuter in person!) You do what you pay for (for three of us to eat + a couple glasses of wine spent more than $300 - but you won’t hear us complaining about that.) Highly recommend you eat here if you are looking for a romantic evening!!

Classic old-school steakhouse with red leather booth seating, timeless cocktails, bar seating and wood paneled walls. A gracious host seats you, gets to know your name, and checks on you throughout your meal using your name, a nice touch that made us feel special. The pacing of the meal was never rushed, the cocktails came served with a shaker keeping our drinks nicely chilled. Excellent service and meal. The walls of each booth were high, providing tons of intimacy and making us feel like we had the place to ourselves. However, some may find this booth style a bit claustrophobic as you don’t have an open vantage point of the anywhere in restaurant (at least the area we were in). This set up is perfect for those wanting to stay incognito as Hollywood stars have been known to frequent this place.

Expectations exceeded! We wanted to eat here because we love the movie Once a upon a Time in Hollywood. When we walked in, we were kindly greeted by the host who let us know Paul would escort us to the best table in the house. Our server Benjamin was knowledgeable and very nice. We really did have a great table, our meal was delicious and the atmosphere made the whole experience! We enjoyed eating here and will definitely be back!
