Carlitos Gardel Argentine Steakhouse

An absolute must! I visited from Australia with Carlitos Gardel at the top of my list, and it exceeded all expectations. Every dish was exceptional—beautifully presented with authentic Argentinian flavors. The atmosphere was warm, and the staff were knowledgeable, the chef made the effort to come out and chat and carve out our steak. A truly special dining experience in every sense, worth every penny and the highlight of my trip to LA. Highly recommend!

Five of us at here and we all organically said we had had the best steaks of our lives. Without overstating it, members of our party have eaten at some of the finest steakhouses in Manhattan, Montreal, Rome, Sydney, Tokyo and beyond and this now tops our list. The service and vibes were also excellent.

Wow, what an amazing experience. My steak was outstanding, I wish I had l own about this restaurant a long. time ago. If you go, take you time, talk with the waters and let them guide you to a great evening.

The evening started with a personal welcome at the door and got better! The ambiance was inviting, the amount of light was perfect, and the service very attentive. The appetizers were great and the portions just right. The food was excellent, and the desserts were absolute perfection! Definitely get the garlic fries, and you can't go wrong with one of the steaks or a special of the day fish!

This place is definitely worth every penny! From the service ,to the food , everything was so perfect and we couldn't be happier 😁 we had dinner reservations, and we didn't know where to park, since they don't have parking, we walked in real quick to ask , and they do valet parking, while they were sitting us at our dinner table , they had taken our car to a parking lot. The steaks here are sooo delicious, we also tried the flan which was so good. We also wanted to be "adventurous" and try the blood sausage, which was different, but my boyfriend seemed to love and even wanted more 😆 I highly recommend this place to everyone! You won't be disappointed

However, the dining experience is significantly hampered by its location and the temporary nature of the building. When using the restroom, the sounds of cars and the general "hollow" feel really highlight the fact that you're essentially eating in a glorified shed in a parking lot. While the food is excellent, the lack of ambiance and overall setting detract from the experience, especially considering the price. For a similar cost, you could find restaurants with a more refined and immersive atmosphere.

Great food, excellent service. We came for a birthday and our waiter guided our large party through the menu very well. We ordered the perfect amount of food and it was expertly cooked. Great atmosphere with live music.

This place was an incredibly atmospheric dining venue, what with the candles/lighting and the live piano accordion music. The service was friendly and hospitable, and the food tasted great. The staff cut the steak right at the table, which was awesome. Everything was wonderful. I'm not normally one for fine dining, but the place didn't feel too stuffy to me, so the atmosphere was just right. I went as part of a business dinner, but this would probably be a fantastic formal date spot. The staff will take care of you for sure. Keeping this part from my initial post, I want to apologize on behalf of my group for keeping your restaurant staff so late past closing. I understand how much this inconveniences you, and I would give you all ten stars if I could. You all did wonderfully, and I couldn't have asked for better service. Thank you all so much.
