Customer Review Summary
Reviews for La Boucherie reflect a mix of experiences. Some patrons enjoyed excellent service and stunning views, particularly praising servers like Daniel and Joaquin for their attentiveness and support in making special occasions memorable. The food quality is generally appreciated, although some dishes were perceived as too heavy or overpriced, leading to mixed feelings about overall value. Certain guests noted issues with service timing and table placements, detracting from the dining experience. While many recommend the restaurant for special occasions, they caution about the high prices, suggesting that the ambiance and service should match the cost. Disappointing Experience – Rude Host Ruined My Birthday I visited this restaurant last night to celebrate my birthday, expecting a pleasant and welcoming experience. Unfortunately, the evening was completely overshadowed by the rude and unprofessional behavior of the host. The host is the face of the restaurant, and when that first impression is so negative, it sets the tone for the entire experience. While the food itself was good, the overall atmosphere was completely ruined. A birthday dinner should feel special, but instead, we felt like an inconvenience. It was clear that the host lacked basic hospitality skills, I hope that nothing bad happened to her that made her act this way, but the management should seriously consider training her—or finding someone better suited for the job. A restaurant can have great food, but if the service is this uninviting, it’s simply not worth returning.

Great experience for a formal and fun girls night out in honor of our friend! Also pretty pricey, so this is more for the experience and memories than the food. Some of the food was a bit heavy/oily; but we had a great time. Our least favorite was one of the fish dishes

The best views of the city! The service was amazing! The food & drinks were well made and of quality. Recommend for any special occasion. Be aware this establishment is very pricey.

Food and view was nice, but the overall service was terrible. When eating the last bite of my start, the main course was already there. I felt like they had a huge rush. I was still sipping on my drink and when i didn’t immediately ordered a new one (while my drink was still half filled), they came with the bill. Food tasted good but not for the price.

Have been here a few times over the years, and the service is always good. The wine list is excellent, and the food is solid—well-prepared and enjoyable. The biggest consideration here is the price. It’s on the higher end, and while the service and food are good, I’m not sure they fully match the cost. That said, if you get a table by the window, the views are absolutely incredible, which adds to the overall experience. If you’re looking for a special night out and don’t mind the higher price point, it’s a great place to enjoy a nice meal with a beautiful setting. Definitely a solid choice, depending on what you’re looking for!

Celebrated our 25th anniversary at La Boucherie, and we had an amazing evening. The restaurant is beautiful and wow, the views are amazing. Our server Daniel was excellent, and he really took care of us all evening. It really was a dining experience. Spent over 4 hours and never felt rushed, and if we didn't ask for the menu (Daniel was letting us enjoy our drinks), we would have stayed even longer. Daniel helped us pair the right wine with our courses. He asked about my gin martini, and I commented, it could be a little stronger. He apologized and took it back to the bar, and they added a splash of gin, and it was perfect. He did that all without making me feel bad about it. The food was also amazing. Well prepared and seasoned. Really, really good. Pleasantly surprised. Overall, highly, highly recommend La Boucherie. One of the best dining experiences we've ever had. We will definitely visit again the next time we're in LA.

Wonderful place! My boyfriend surprised me with The starlight booth dinner and wow it was such an amazing experience. Our sever Joaquin went above and beyond to make our dinner that much better. Food was tasty and high quality, atmosphere was very intimate. Cocktails delicious! Will definitely be coming back!

The food was good. But, it should be if you are paying $80 for steak. The service was adequate, nothing special. The problem was the table. Often, restaurants try to maximize occupancy by putting tables where tables just should NOT be, the "lousy table." That is what we got. (I should say, when I booked, there was no option for table selection). Once you're stuck with the lousy table, the rest of the dining experience is shot, specially when you are paying $600+ for 2 people. Hope you have better luck.
