About Fia Steak - steak house in Los Angeles, California
Customer Review Summary
Fia Steak offers a fantastic upscale steakhouse experience with high-quality food and attentive service. The atmosphere is vibrant yet intimate, appealing to both large groups and romantic couples. Standout dishes include the Oysters on Half-shell, Tuna Cigars, Prime Rib Cap, beef Wellington, and a variety of flavorful sides. The staff, particularly the sommelier, provide excellent recommendations, though wine prices can be unexpectedly high. Guests appreciate the thoughtful presentation and little details throughout the dining experience. While prices are on the higher side, many feel the quality justifies the cost, making it a worthwhile choice for fine dining. Overall, Fia Steak has received glowing reviews, with many customers expressing eagerness to return and explore more of the menu.

Fantastic upscale steakhouse experience. Prices are high but the value and experience make it worthwhile. Every dish has extra flair that makes this restaurant unique. Vibes and ambiance are elevated but fun - lots of groups drinking and having a good time but also romantic dates mixed in. We did not have any misses with our order but the dishes that stood out the most were the Oysters on Half-shell, Tuna Cigars, and Prime Rib Cap (crust was PERFECT). Throw in the bread and butter, you won’t be disappointed. Service is great from the waitstaff to the onsite sommelier. Make sure to ask the prices of the wine recommendations, I was a bit surprised to have been offered a $70 glass of wine which double any wine by the glass listed. That said, the sample of the $70 glass was fantastic. We absolutely plan to come back and are excited to explore more of the menu.

How amazing, from the moment we walked in they treated us like family. Beautiful restaurant, good vibes, music was great and the fact you see the love being put into the food is outstanding. We had the spicy Ahi Tuna cigar (it’s a must have) bone in ribeye, cooked to perfection. The Dauphinoise Potatoes are fantastic. Paul our serve was very attentive and on top of his game. The Sommelier had amazing recommendations as well. We will be back when in LA. As for the people leaving 1 star reviews due to cost….. you saw the menu and the cost prior to ordering and it’s not fair to a business who offers amazing food. You could have left! Or not made the reservation! You have other options, however something brought you to FIA Steak. All portions are excellent for two and not child size as another reviewer stated. It’s a fine dinning restaurant that offers high quality items. It’s not a buffet so you get what you pay for here.

I don’t even know where to start here… the food was amazing and the service was just as good! The beef Wellington special was probably best I’ve ever had. The sides were all amazing. We had the grilled peaches and tomatoes, oyster rockefeller, mushroom risotto, Caeser salad, filets and Wellington and they were all amazing. Th me entrees were amazing but all of the food leading up to it was just as good! We will definitely be back!

A great dinner at Fia Steak last night. Service was unsupaseed and the food was on point. Appetizers > entrees with the steak tartar, the "cigars", and the crab being the stars. The steak was cooked to perfection on the open flames. The inside ambience is cool and the music was a great selection of 90s urban, but not played so loud that you can't have a conversation. The lobster risotto was the only dish below par.

An absolute experience indeed. The wood burning smell is incredible as you walk in, the restaurant is very intimate, the service was great and every bite was flavor town. Paul was our server who was exceptional, great energy & personality - we had some notions about what we thought we'd want to order, but he took us on a journey and provided excellent recommendations that we ultimately went with. I'm a fan of old fashions and they do a beautiful job with the 'Tony Soprano' single cube with the Fia branding (appreciate the tiny details) and accompanied by cherry wood smoke. We ordered the ahi tuna cigar, bread service, hamachi crudo to start, then followed by their oxtail pasta and bone-in ribeye. Sometimes we are concerned about portion sizes at nice establishments like this, but the sizes were perfect and we had multiple to-go boxes at the end. Would highly recommend the tuna cigar (brought to you in a cigar box which is fun), the oxtail pasta and naturally, the steak, as if the name of the restaurant doesn't give it away. Something that stuck out to me was the level of care with what seemed to be everything at the restaurant - I got up to wash my hands and a nice gentlemen (I didn't get his name, but he had cool glasses on) immediately noticed and walked me to the restrooms. Personally, it's often the small things that make the most difference. Overall, a very nice date night with my lady and we're quite happy with our experience.

One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in LA. Great food, friendly service and easy parking. Every single dish is exceptional. The seafood is also beyond my expectations, it’s so tender and juicy. You can taste the freshness. Our server was so friendly and attentive. The overall vibe was amazing. Around $300 per person without wine.

Loved the food, service and all the extra little details. Surprised to see any negative reviews on this place. Everything was excellent. My husband and I shared the 14oz New York steak, caesar salad, lobster bisque, truffle mashed potatoes and a lobster tail. And we got the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. I also got the Tony Soprano cocktail which was divine. Everything was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Expensive but worth it.

Fia Steak Restaurant provided an unforgettable dining experience that surpassed all expectations. From the warm and knowledgeable staff to the exquisite culinary offerings, every aspect of the evening was exceptional. The appetizers, including the crunchy tuna cigars, hamachi crudo, and the newly introduced kingfish crudo, tantalized the taste buds with their harmonious flavor combinations. The steak tartare, with its spicy kick, was a standout dish, setting the stage for the incredible entrees to follow. The truffle cavatelli was a personal favorite, but the oxtail agnolotti stole the show with its rich wine and meat sauce, leaving a lasting impression as one of the most remarkable pasta dishes ever tasted. The bone-in ribeye, cooked to perfection and accompanied by dauphinois gratin of potatoes, mushrooms, and asparagus, showcased the restaurant's mastery of steak. Additionally, the A5 Wagyu, a kitchen recommendation, was a delectable indulgence. Dessert was the perfect conclusion to an extraordinary meal, with the chocolate soufflé and sticky toffee pudding topped with vanilla ice cream providing a sweet finale. Fia Steak Restaurant has set the bar exceptionally high with its unparalleled hospitality, service, and culinary quality. This dining experience was truly magical, THANK YOU, Fia Steak!
