Customer Review Summary
Baltaire Restaurant offers a stunning atmosphere and exceptional service with a focus on a high-quality experience. The brunch, especially the Bloody Mary cart and cinnamon rolls, is highly recommended. While some dishes excelled, like steaks and sides, others lacked flavor, and there were notable inconsistencies in steak cooking. The ambiance is vibrant yet loud, making it suited for those who enjoy a bustling scene. Complimentary bread and well-prepared cocktails enhance the dining experience, though some found the cocktails overly strong. Overall, the restaurant is seen as a splurge worth consideration, though diners are advised to manage expectations regarding certain dishes and quality control.

I have been to Baltaire twice now, once for dinner and recently again for their brunch. The food is amazing but the service is exceptional. You can tell they care deeply about the experience from beginning to end. Also the brunch is not to be missed! We treated ourselves to the Bloody Mary cart and the cinnamon roll (call ahead to reserve, worth it). Definitely a splurge, but a great time any time!!

Great service and atmosphere made for a pleasant evening. I would have appreciated more flavor in the dishes. The steak was cooked well but the side dishes were nearly bland. The croissant bread pudding had so much potential. Really needed a kick up on cinnamon and nutmeg, adding a quarter cup of bourbon or rum to the cream soak would boost flavor too. Nice location but don’t expect a lot on the meal.

Walking into Baltaire is absolutely beautiful. The space is stunning and exquisite. We had a table of 10 with 3 wheelchairs and service was impeccable. We enjoyed everything on our table from drinks to dinner to dessert. The steaks melted in your mouth, the sides were all delicious including the Mac n cheese, which is a hard one for me. We will definitely be back again.

Upon opening their massive front doors were were greeted with the boldest culture of West LA \ once inside the leather seating and incredible DJ Layered the afternoon with a great ambiance. We were here for our Monthaversary and my husband and I were in for a treat. Their Sunday Brunch. Treated like kings! A special card they had signed for us wait waiting at our table and the fun and articulate Josè was our special server. He made sure we were taken care of. This place is all about carts! When you order champagne a beautifully designed cart by Veuve Cliquot arrives complete with. Professional sommelier who speaks upon the brand’s heritage while pouring the most beautiful pour of champagne. If you need a cinnamon roll in your life, boom, a cart arrives and that roll has a special table side experience in its live curation. And most importantly when you are in dire need of a Bloody Mary then there is an awesome cart for this as well. The garnishes options are so very well prepared too that adds to this culture that Baltaire provides. For food we were given a solid spread of Mediterranean options such as whipped feta and beautiful citrus displays. For food we did the steak filet and eggs, beautifully cooked Salmon upon CousCous & blended Tomato Sauce and the most delicious and complicated deserts to top off our brunch, thank you Baltaire, it was our first time and you exceeded all of our expectations. Thank you so much!

This is a beautifully stunning & very loud restaurant. Thankfully, we got seated on the outskirts but still the volume was intense. If, this is your kind of scene then this is the place to visit. The food we ordered was absolutely amazing. Fresh, tasty & of quality. Great place to share plates. Menu provided plenty of options for every palette. Desserts were pretty good but I was disappointed in the mango & raspberry sorbet. The mandarin was refreshing. Cocktails were too strong I thought but others like 1 and done. The flavor profiles were nice. Staff were super friendly & playful. Service was great!

Went there to celebrate 2 birthdays .. figuring is a steak house so they will get that right... Of 6 steaks, 2 ordered medium were very well done Gray, 1 ordered medium was dried out disgusting. The onion rings were very soft and soggy. Our server looked at the steak and said "well those are over cooked!". Ok. Your steak guy has one job. And he or she or they screwed up 30 percent just at our table. The server was nice enough to remove it from the bill but their prices are so incredibly high, we will absolutely never give them another chance. Reviews on here were not great but we decided to try anyways.. oops. Not good. This restaurant has zero quality control before the plates are sent from the pass. Please please don't waste your money and time here. There are much better for much cheaper steak houses. You have been warned :)

Classy steakhouse with steak that has been listed as some of the best in LA. Came here for dinner on a Sunday evening with the fam and it was a lovely meal. Valet parking available for lunch at $12 and dinner for $14, otherwise, metered street parking available. Credit cards accepted. They do offer gift cards. It’s good for big groups though most of the diners seemed to be comprised of small groups. Service was friendly and they did clean the table between courses. They provided complimentary bread and butter, which tasted high quality. Food-wise, we ate the following: - Spicy salmon on crispy rice - comes in 5 pieces. It’s a nice light appetizer and the presentation was pretty - Lobster bisque - nice lighter soup. Our mom liked this a lot. - Tomahawk - 3 of is split this and there were still leftovers for the following day. - Filet trio - our dad opted for this. The sauces included béarnaise and chimichurri, though in my opinion, chimichurri is the way to go. - French onion soup - super cheesy and well done. There was a good ratio of onions without it being too overbearing. - Brussel sprouts - an almost Thai take on Brussel sprouts, as these came with peanuts and a sweet chili sauce. A nice way to add greens to an otherwise rich meal - Frites - truffle is available but we opted for the regular ones. These aren’t crispy but the flavor is good and popping them into the air fryer the next day did wonders. - Butterscotch pot de creme - there’s no better way to end a meal than with pot de creme. This has just the right amount of sweetness and was velvety smooth.

Stopped by here for a team dinner. Overall good experience! Tomahawk steak was great! Ordered for 4 people and we still had leftovers. Cooked a perfect medium rare. Sides were the mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, mushrooms, and Mac and cheese. All really good, didn’t feel too heavy. Finished the meal off with the bread pudding, so yummy. I wish I had room to finish the whole thing I feel old saying that it was a bit loud in there but it really was. Still a fun place
