I recently dined at American Beauty and had high expectations based on the buzz around it. Unfortunately, I found the food to be overly seasoned—most dishes were quite salty and drenched in sauce, which overpowered the natural flavors. While the ingredients seemed high quality, nothing really stood out as particularly special or memorable. If you enjoy bold, heavily seasoned food, this might be your spot, but personally, I was hoping for a more balanced and nuanced experience.

Food: the burgers are fire, and the fries are good too! Kale salad was amazing Seating: At dinner it gets busy, come for lunch if possible, lots of seating and good vibes Parking: limited parking out front so park a street over for free parking

Steak Grill Place! Mostly Outdoor seating place, pet friendly. Gonna have to give 4/5 Star Rating, they initially undercooked my steak and gave me a dull steak knife... they corrected it when I sent it back to the kitchen. Macaroni & Cheese and Giant Hash Brown Side was good. It's a shame, they undercooked my steak everything else was good. Food here is slightly saltier 🧂 than other restaurants in the area, but hey it's Steak! Simple Food, Simple Menu.

Had lunch here yesterday. Ordered the hangar steak and fries. I asked for the steak to be cooked medium plus. When the steak came it was between rare and medium rare. Returned steak to be cooked more and it was returned medium rare. The fries were good but way too salty. Also ordered a chopped salad which didn’t come before our food as requested or with the food. Waitress was not very attentive. Manager was made aware and I was still charged. Will not eat here again and will not recommend

Even if you want to just pop in and have a light dinner, American Beauty hits the mark! I’m a huge fan of their vegetable selection (we didn’t even order a steak this time). Cocktails are always balanced and fun and the big outdoor patio is perfect for our little pup.

Our first visit to American Beauty in Venice was awesome, and we’re definitely coming back. We sat on the super cute outdoor patio, and the staff treated us like family. The menu was so tempting it was hard to choose. We finally went with the Wood Grilled Flatbread (amazing), Brentwood Corn (so flavorful), Stuffed Hash Brown (delish), Wood Grilled Lobster Tail (the ‘XO’ butter was fire), Heritage Baby Back Ribs (sweet and spicy, a nice twist on BBQ), Fried Whole Tai Snapper (so meaty), Grilled Lamb Chops (packed with flavor), Dry Aged Prime Ribeye (tender and tasty), and a Stone Fruit Pie with vanilla ice cream that was perfect for the three of us (just the right sweetness). Plus, I had a lovely French Cabernet. Totally recommend this spot if you want an awesome meal with lots of creative options.

Excellent restaurant with a couple of minor flaws. The steak knives are barely sharp enough to cut butter. And when we were first seated outdoors in the open area, the stink of sewage was in the air. They moved us to another table in the covered area, and that resolved that. But it's unfortunate because the open area had nice fire pits. Now for the good part, my favorite parts of the meal were the Lamb chops with spicy eggplant and tzaziki, the hash brown potatos, and the celery root. Although the NY steak was cooked to perfection, it was a bit chewy with parts of the fat getting stuck between our teeth. For appetizers, I really enjoyed the dipping sauce of the grilled asparagus as well as the maple sauce of the endive salad. The complimentary sparkling water was a nice touch. We ended up having dessert at home.
