Zubie's Dry Dock

This is not a 5 star fancy restaurant but it is a great family restaurant, as casual as you would like it to be. I've been supporting this place since they were located in Costa Mesa and I remember sometimes it used to get so crowded but the family and I didn't mind ... it was part of the whole experience! My favorite dish used to be steak and lobster but nowadays a 22oz rib eye is my thing. You can't go wrong visiting this place, but keep in mind that if you like to be served at your table they don't offer that kind of service, you must wait in line to place your order and do the same at the bar for your drinks ... in my case "I don't mind that at all" . They have several TV monitors so you can enjoy sports and the place is big enough for you to enjoy your space. Huge parking lot in front of the restaurant is a good commodity specially if you are a numerous group. I'm assuming they will gladly take your phone call if you would like to get more acquainted with their menu. I gladly recommend Zubie's!!

My first time at Zubie’s , food was good and ready fast! The blue cheese dressing tastes hone made. They give you real top quality butter for your baked potato. My friend said they cooked her salmon perfectly, it sure looked delicious! My friends said there used to be a huge fish tank and salad bar when they used to go there a few years ago. A salad bar would have been really nice but the plandemic seems to have caused restaurants to get rid of their salad bars, which is really sad. Anyway, I would definitely eat at Zubie’s again!

Terrific value in the food and drinks, fairly nice staff keeping up with a constant crowd, and very good oysters. I enjoyed the surf & turf Saturday special for only $20! Great shrimp with a delicious sauce. I highly recommend this bar.

Our Family LOVES this place! Plenty of seating, great service, & games for the kids. Great for large parties, sports fundraisers, & watching the games. Check out Zubies Dry Dock.

This was my first time ever going here, and I loved it. Their menu is extensive. If you can't find something you like here, then you have some serious issues and should probably stay home for the rest of your life. They have everything from pizza and pasta, to burgers and steaks, to tacos of all types, to all kinds of seafood and other sandwiches. The menu is truly a bit of everything and their prices are reasonable for what you get. We were with quite a big party, and I was blown away at how fast our food was cooked and prepared. Their kitchen is ON POINT because they were packed on a Friday night at 6:30 pm. Their oysters were delicious, and the raw horseradish they have is EPIC. I'm 95% sure it is Atomic brand horseradish, but I forgot to ask. They've got a bunch of arcade games the kids can play while the adults enjoy some beverages, and they have a full bar so you can get whatever you want to drink. Keep up the great work Zubies! I will be back here next time I'm in the area FOR SURE!

We went on a busy Friday night so I expected it take a bit for food. After waiting 40 minutes for food I went and checked our order. No one behind the order counter had a clue. It turns out they never sent our receipt to the kitchen. I had hungry kids and at this point was a bit irritated. There was no apology, no offer of anything because of the mistake. In fact there were a handful of customers at the order counter due to mistakes with their orders. 20+ minutes later I had to get a refund because we still had no food. The counter employees couldn't figure out how to give a refund so now we have to wait to see if they did it right on our CC. I used to love this place but not anymore.
