About TASTE of Brazil Cuisine - steak house in Huntington Beach, California

Modest, strip-mall locale offering Brazilian plates, sandwiches, pastries & açai bowls at a counter.

Customer Review Summary

TASTE of Brazil Cuisine is a small establishment that has been misrepresented as a larger restaurant on its website, with the dinner area closed for almost a year. While some dishes like steak and cheese balls are praised, others such as beans and diced tomatoes received negative feedback for being overly salty or old. Customers enjoy the chicken sandwich and various Brazilian street foods, noting that prices are reasonable. The service is described as friendly and courteous, although slow at times. Overall, the experience is positive, with many finding the food reminiscent of home and appreciating the cozy atmosphere, despite some inconsistencies in food quality and presentation. There is also a small market section offering Brazilian ingredients.

The ad description on the website said it was a restaurant but when you got to the place it was a small shop with 3 tables and the dinner side had closed for almost a year, we drove for almost 1 hour to taste an authentic Brazilian meal but we couldn't because it wasn't a restaurant as described in the website, they need to update their information and let the people know they don't have the dinner area available... just a humble suggestion.

Steak was good .beans were too salty rice was cooked really well . The diced tomatoes that comes as a side looked old . Like it's been in the fridge for too long . Soggy . It's a place to try but not to come back . I also ordered the cheese ball and that was good and the beef ones those were tasty but just to eat 2 they are too doughy . And it's a bit pricey for the portions.

My cousin started dating a Brazilian girl and she turned us on to this place. Great food and good prices. I love the chicken sandwich and cheese bread. I’ve also had the steak which is good too. Later in the day/night they sometimes run out of items so order early.

Very good and relatively inexpensive place for Brazilian food in Huntington Beach. Good assortment of "street" foods like cozinhas and other types of croquettes, along with Brazilian classics like feijoada (Brazil's national dish) and picanha steak. The place is small but clean and well-kept. The service is courteous and reasonably fast.

So welcoming and nice! They actually ran out of the steak sandwich so I had to order the chicken which was good... It is more like a chicken salad but the size was quite large because it's on a big roll instead of sliced bread. The cheese or sauce was the thing that made the sandwich burst with flavor. I would really like to try their steak sandwich though. Hey the large chicken oaxana not the minis because the cream cheese was a game changer. The beef equivalent was not as good. The service was really super nice and friendly. It took a while to prep the food but it was worth it.

Delicious food, felt like home. We had feijoada and steak, both were tasty. Good prices, friendly staff, and soccer on tv. They also have Brazilian ingredients like polvilho, goiabada, suco de maracujá 😍

Had a great first experience at TASTE! The pulled beef sandwich was awesome, I couldn't stop taking bites. My daughter had the berry acai bowl and it didn't disappoint. They even offered our puppy a bowl of water. I definitely recommend, they even have a little market inside. Can't wait to visit again! Thanks again!

Food was good. Older lady seemed annoyed to have a costumer but younger lady - that was busy at the time organizing something - rose with alacrity and was very polite and professional.
