Bar staff and wait staff provide excellent service. Located across the street from the pier with a large parking lot. Breakfast and lunch food are very good. We had the breakfast burrito and the bacon, lettuce, and fried green tomato sandwich. Bloody mary is tasty.

Great view looking out on Ocean and pier. Great service from Beth W. Lots of options on the menu (see pics). I ordered a Texas toast breakfast sandwich. Egg was more over easy than requested over medium, but the mess was delicious. Hangout has been here for ever. Most laid-back restaurant with an Ocean view. Would come back for more at any mealtime. Might go to Beach House if I wanted to feel fancier.

Our waitress was nice, got a weird look from hostess when I walked back in to use the restroom….Location GREAT, Chicken Nachos GREAT and Large portion…. ( me and husband could not finish it but we dont eat alot ), Cadillac margarita ok, bacon bloody mary Delicious

I love me some Seal Beach vibes and I totally love The Hangout. Their burgers are absolutely bomb, and the waitresses are very kind and attentive. Their fish'n'chips, their breakfast...all good. I still have lots of plates to try. Can't go wrong with the location. Grab a bite and head to the pier or go for a walk to visit all the cool little shop on Main or stop by Javatinis for a cup of coffee. 12/24/24: Just visited with the familia and enjoyed this beastie Bacon Blue Cheese Burger. Give it a shot. You won't be disappointed!

Had the salmon sliders they were done right. The blackened fish tacos lacked flavor and could have omitted the pineapple. Ordered the panko mahi mahi They brought out the dish and it turned out to be the wrong plate that was delivered to me! I didn’t notice and took a few bites of it. Was the blackened mahi. The blackened was really good. They replaced it with my original. The blackened was way better! The Pancho is also tasteless. It reminded me of cafeteria food. If I lived here, I probably wouldn’t return. The waitress was excellent. Very patient and corrected my order quickly. She didn’t bring out the wrong dish an expeditor did. So it wasn’t her fault. Just in case the owner or manager sees this! We had deviled eggs as an appetizer. They were ok, nothing special.

We stopped in for breakfast with the family. A nice little spot right in front of the beach. The food was reasonably priced and it all tasted great. I would definitely be back if we are in the area again.

We love this place. Food, service, and atmosphere do not disappoint. After having their delicious food, you can cross the street and walk down one of the longest piers. Enjoying the view and fresh air. ❤️

We worked up an appetite after a 1 hour walk so we hit this place for breakfast. My friend ordered the BELT sandwich Bacon, Egg, Lettuce and Tomato. It looked delicious and 6 hours later she was still talking about it. I stuck with chorizo, eggs & refried beans work corn tortillas. It was yummy. Great location with a view of the ocean right on Main Street. Prices are great and not outrageous! A definite must try if you’re in Seal Beach.
