3-stars for food, it’s an ok for salmon & tuna but not as fresh, upon ordering hand rolls. Tempura was good. Ambiance is good, clean place. Prices were affordable. Next time we’ll try the Teppan and see how it is.

Absolutely obsessed with everything about this restaurant! The atmosphere is so cozy, the staff incredibly welcoming, and the food absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to come back and try their boat

The food is classic Japanese but I have to say the sushi is real and very fresh. Not premade soggy limp stuff. Their sushi bar and food is real. They prep and fillet the fresh fish there and cut and serve to order. My adult kids like the steak and that is very good too. I work nearby and noticed the place is always busy at lunch with lots of business men enjoying a good meal. Lunch servise is fast and respectful of short lunch hours for the business men. I go there often when I want to treat myself to a nice lunch, have business lunches with clients, and take the staff for a birthday dinner. Perfect place.

I eat at teppanyaki almost everywhere we travel we think it’s fun to see the different foods and styles of entertainment the chefs have. This location was booked for teppan, they only have 4 tables so reserve them a few days in advance. Presentation…beautiful and appetizing. I did however order off the grill menu. I was not a fan. We had some appetizers and sushi as well. I thought everything had an off taste to it. Almost like it’s a sodium free soy sauce in everything. The filet was a little dry and seamed like no seasoning on the veggies. My son had the sushi dinner, he liked it. Again I had a taste of a roll for an app and it just had a different flavor. Most likely the seaweed that’s used. My husband had the filet and lobster plate. He ate the meat but non of the veggies it was served on, same ones as above. The server was amazing. And the atmosphere was fun. Very very busy restaurant so I’m assuming there’s way better reviews. I have a high standard for these types of restaurants.

I went to Matsus a lot when I was young, now that I'm older, I'm confident in saying it's just as good as I remember it. It's fresh, it's flavorful, and in general a fun experince. I got off the lunch menu, one of their sushi specials. Fresh sushi? And perfect miso soup.

Had a very nice meal here with some colleagues. Food was delicious, portions generous, staff was great, and very reasonably priced.

I tried so many Japanese dishes in different places but this place was the best one I’ve ever had so I’m glad I went there and give it a try, everything was great 😊
