This restaurant was such a pleasant surprise! We spent the afternoon and sunset hours on Venice Beach and none of the restaurants right on the water had menus that were all that exciting for us. So a quick search brought us to Longboard. We called and asked about parking, there is some street parking if you can find it and a garage right around the corner. Our first impression was a bit cautious, as it was a busy Friday night and the inside was quite busy and loud. We decided to stay anyways and sat outside in the front, which was a great spot to people watch. The waitress was very friendly and the menu was great. They have Pepsi, which made me happy. And it was during their Lobster Fest event so their vegetable of the day was corn on the cob, my favorite!! The steak was flavorful and perfectly cooked. My tablemate got the sliders with a salad and said they were flavorful and the perfect portion. Overall, we loved our meal here and would highly recommend making this spot a must visit when in town. Great staff, delicious food, and the price for quality can't be beat.

1st time there. Bartender was great. Good monday food special, burger, fries and beer for $12. Raffle and bingo for free. Fun atmosphere. Friendly regulars made you feel welcomed. Definitely coming back.

Great experience, even better food! The hubby and I were starving and decided to try this place out. People were mainly seated outside but we sat down inside. It was clean and has a bunch of TVs displaying sports or other shows. Decor is simple and beachy! The server was quick and friendly-he was taking care of the bar, the dining room AND the patio! The food was a pleasant surprise. No complaints-it was all fresh and cooked thoroughly! The wait was not long either. We will definitely dine here again whenever we visit again.

Great fish-and-chips! fries are fresh cut batter is wonderful, crispy but not dry like u have to rely on tartar sauce. Enjoyed sliders too n salad was ok. Ate outside by sidewalk to avoid people.

They don’t have hot tea here, but the waitress did her best and was able to mix some iced tea with hot water. The menu is extensive and has a lot of different foods to offer. The food was pretty good, but not the best we tried. The place is pretty busy, but usually has space available.

Came here for weekend lunch. Lobster roll is classic. Breakfast burrito is great. Their fries are fresh and crisp. Good beer selection with wide variety of range.

Went in a group or three for a Sunday morning brunch. We were seated immediately, and the service was friendly, it just a little slow. Star of the show was absolutely the breakfast potatoes and the omelettes. Their version of huevos rancheros was unique, and well liked at our table.

Longboard is a very chill place. It's not the best bar in Huntington Beach, but they do have ok food and a cool atmosphere. The actual bar itself resembles a surfboard, which is pretty neat. There are also a couple of surfboards hanging up. As for food, I've had the chicken sandwich, as well as a couple of other items on the menu. I can't say that they were all great, but definitely worth the price if you are looking for something quick and simple. The service is always good as well. Tasha was a terrific waitress when I visited. Overall, while they might not be the best bar in Huntington Beach, the place is pretty chill and definitely worth the visit.
