Been here a few times thru the years. It’s not like what it was before but the food is still on point and service is great. The live musician at the bar is fabulous and friendly. It’s always nice to hear a live voice at an establishment. It’s a comfortable place for some prime rib and king crab 🦀.

Overall disappointing. Took years to get here, but we saw a huge difference in how the table next to us was treated graciously and us not so. Our waiter C. Avoided any eye contact when going by and looked at the other table, while he was avoiding us he doted on them. Our table was packed no room at all and they dropped off containers for us to pack, they took away our neighbors tables plates and returned with neatly packed bags of left overs, yes crab legs were great, prime rib was ordered medium rare yet came very rare and wound up barely taking 5 bites, when he saw it was not eaten he said nothing. I would hope in this day discrimination would not be the case but it sure seemed like we had to beg for everything, I could see why others could rave, this was a $400.00 plus very bad experience after we paid around $100.00 separately for apps. The waitress there was rude and condescending, we asked for menu so we could decide while we waited but she was snide rude and condescending to us, very very disappointed, we traveled far and took years to get here this was our wedding anniversary dinner and they treated us badly deliberately, that’s inexcusable. I post more positive reviews then negative but these guys intentionally were horrible to us.i noticed management does not care to thank for good reviews or care to reply to unfavorable reviews seems like they don’t care about their customers and rely on a past that seems gone.

This is a local favorite for those who enjoy a classic American dining experience. The décor and ambiance might not be the trendiest, but the restaurant’s location right next to the river ensures that the food is always fresh. The seafood here is especially recommended—the king crab are fresh, large, and served hot, which is a refreshing change from the cold crab legs often found in Las Vegas. However, parking can be a bit of a challenge. There is valet parking available across the street, which is convenient if you don’t mind the added service. Overall, if you’re looking for a place with great seafood and a local charm, this is a spot worth visiting.

First time visiting Captain Jack's. I remember seeing it growing up but never went there. We had King crab legs and the Halibut. Excellent! It's big in price but worth it. We will definitely return.

I've been going to Captain Jack's for over 30 years and I can say it's simply the best prime rib and crab legs available in Southern California. I wouldn't waste my money anywhere else this place is the real deal; if you don't like your meal let me know I'll pay for it.

This place is fantastic! I took my sister here for her 22nd birthday and we had the best service. I appreciate that our waiter took the time to go over the menu and listed some great options that he highly recommended. We ordered King Crab with some salads and a couple of rounds of drinks. The lemon drop martini was great and we really enjoyed the view from our table. We can't wait to come back! Amazing atmosphere, friendly staff, and outstanding food.

Employees were attentive and felt so genuine, the nautical atmosphere is top notch. Everything feeds into the theme of the restaurant from large aquariums, paintings of ships at sea and even the lights. The food is incredible and the portions more than justify the prices which felt fair to me and my gf who went on our 7 year anniversary. Will definitely be returning for our next special occasion
