I somehow misunderstood how BBQ'd meat could appear--not sizzling off the grill. Tasty. Ample portion of briskets. 2 styrofoam 😑cups of 2 good sides. Plastic utensils😔 We could opt for better cups & utensils for the seaside environment. The yacht views & sea breezes!

I will start by saying that the BBQ was delicious. We tried the rib tips, brisket, links, and salmon. I visited several times before posting a review to make sure that they are consistently good and they continue to exceed my expectations. The portions are very generous and the sides are tasty. The collard greens were perfect and I'm from the South and have had the best. I love the Peach Cobbler and it's not too sweet as many tend to be. Most importantly, the staff are welcoming, attentive, and professional. The atmosphere is perfect offering Harbour views, live sports broadcasts, and music on the weekends. The space is large and I choose the atmosphere I want based on how I'm feeling. It is now my go-to spot for comfort food and great service.

The smoked salmon was also perfectly cooked and tasty. The interior has tvs everywhere for watching sports and has good music. It’s a great bar with great views of the boats and the water. It’s so fun to watch the boats come in and pick up their order. The service is excellent and the food was delivered fast. It’s the perfect place to pick up BBQ meals for a party Note: went back again and the ambience is great and their signature barbecue sauce is delicious and the sides are good. The rib tips were very fatty and not to my taste. Our friend didn’t like the ribs this visit. If possible, we would recommend asking for a taste before you order. The smoked salmon is a good choose. A friend took us here. Amazing place. The food was fabulous, and drinks were even better. Had the opportunity to meet the owner, who was extremely pleasant. The back Bay View was spectacular. I would highly recommend this place.

This place was amazing! The owner was outstanding and very personable. The food was so good we returned twice within one week and brought our colleagues. The Mac and cheese, Ribs, and Yams were my favorite, overall 10/10. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Beale’s Texas BBQ to anyone and everyone coming to visit!

Ribs are good. Customer service is attentive. They need to work on their sides. Mash potato was dry. Onions were burn. Beans were missing flavor. The live music was a nice touch

We even asked before if it was dry, and they assured us it was not. The pulled pork sandwich was tender and juicy with a fresh bun. The Mac n Cheese however was soggy and not well formed. The greens were good but nothing special. Service: You could tell they are a work in progress here. The girls taking orders were kind and doing there best. They did forget certain things we asked for both while ordering and at the table. At the same time they had a manager sitting right there listening to their every word. And as soon as we went and sat down he was grilling them on his performance. A couple minutes later he was hounding them about giving a substitution for a side. He was definitely very rude to them and I’m sure they felt like they were walking on egg shells. Overall: If you even it out the food is Average. The service a work in progress. Not worth traveling for. There are better BBQ spots in Orange County and even neighboring Long Beach.

None of the food tasted like anyone with any kind of passion smoked this food. Before I start I will take responsibility, everyone knows the best bbq is served early, I didn’t order until 7:30pm. And maybe we didn’t order their best meats, but when I think Texas BBQ I always think beef. Item by item: Brisket - had zero smoke ring and must have been wrapped from the first minute it was cooked. It was also clearly sitting in a heating tray for a long time. The top was dry and inedible, the bottom was not great but I could chew it. We threw 60% of it in the trash. Short Rib - was good, you could see the smoke ring, was a little tough. Ribs - were good, best thing we ordered. Beef Hotlinks - clearly just the standard Sysco food services hot link. Not worth getting. Chili - I prefer a Texas chili so seeing this loaded with beans didn’t excite me. Flavor was fine. Mac n Cheese - clumpy and congealed. Cooks clearly never heard the term Roux. Decently seasoned but way too many raw noodles. Cheesy Honey Cornbread - no cheese no honey. It was a corn bread sheet cake. It was dry. Yams - I didn’t try, my wife didn’t compliment them. Beans - also didn’t try these, wife ate a bite or two. As a fun bonus there was a piece of chicken bone in the peach cobbler that almost broke the wife’s tooth. But we didn’t find or look to more. Could have been an accident. The kid working the host stand was nice and gathered our order pretty quick. No one else in the staff interacted with me. There was a live band playing that sounded pretty good even if the volume was a little high for how empty the restaurant was. All of this is a matter of opinion. But I regret not driving to a better place further away. I also accept the time I ordered wasn’t ideal and maybe they’re known for their pulled pork and chicken (I’ll never know).
