We have been going to Oz Korean BBQ for years! Of all of the KBBQ places we have gone to in Elk Grove and Sacramento, this is the one that we keep coming back to and use it as our standard of quality. Oz has great meat quality and selection, excellent side dishes, good service, is clean and fairly priced. Because it is such a busy place, my husband and I prefer to go on off-peak times like 2pm on weekdays. Upon arriving, you usually have to wait about ten minutes before being escorted to your table. Once there, you are greeted by a server who brings your side dishes, turns on your grill, and takes your drink and first order. You get to choose 3 starters, three meats, side dishes and sauces. We like the chili pork, chadol, and many of the other pork and beef options. The chicken and seafood options just aren’t our speed. The meat arrives via a cute cat shaped robot waiter. You take the dishes off your tray and get cooking! It doesn’t take long to cook the pork and beef options… Lately we have noticed that the ventilation system is having a hard time keeping up, meaning your table can get smoky and your clothes will smell after your meal. Every time our grill appeared black, someone was there to swap it out. Our server, Eli, was very knowledgeable about the menu and its dishes, and he kept our drinks full and offered us subsequent meat and side dishes often. The restaurant and bathrooms are clean. The meal itself is a fun and delicious experience. There is a bar— but I’ve never seen anyone sitting there. On the tvs they play KPop music videos and slideshows of all of the restaurant offerings. Plus, they have a big wheel that you can spin if it is your birthday! Overall, Oz Korean BBQ is a wonderful place for a day date or just a meal in general. Just don’t try and go at peak times… or expect a long wait!

Honestly this is my favorite restaurant! I love the atmosphere, music plays, games are on, music videos (kpop), and the smells are intoxicating! The food is AMAZING, yes you cook it yourself but the seasons that come with the meats keep you coming back for more. I've had a poor experience or two here but NOTHING that could stop me from coming back! I've been eating here for years and will be eating here for years to come!

This place is amazing. Absolutely fire. Came here with friends and it took a while for us to be seated (about 40ish minutes) which is fine because we came in without booking and during lunch rush hour. A tip from me is to call in and make a reservation before coming in so you dont gotta wait. Moving past that, the food is amazing and I enjoyed all of the meat and food that they served. Their chicken wings are good and it was my first time trying cheese corn. It was delicious. I absolutely loved it. The kimchi they had was also really really good and I enjoyed it alot. Their chicken wings were also solid for a kbbq spot. Their meat was the best though, the ribeye steak, sesame beef, bulgogi and other meats were super solid. I loved it alot, it was really really pleasant overall. This is probably the best kbbq spot ive tried in sac/Elk Grove. Would definitely come here again and would definitely recommend everyone to give it a try. I genuinely can't see it going wrong. Top tier place, would come again, delicious, make a reservation to save time.

I went here for the 1st time last Friday and the food was amazing. All the meats were fresh and of good quality same for the veggies. Service was GREAT too. Our server was very attentive and kind! It was a lot of fun. Great place for a date or with family. I will definitely be back!

My boyfriend and I have had 2 date nights at this location, both times it was great. Everything is clean, from the grill to the cups. The food is really good, i loved the bul-go-gi this last time we went. I definitely recommend this location if you want a creative date night with good food and a vibrant atmosphere. I do wish they had a quieter area for couples, away from the loudness of parties but for what it’s worth; the little section in the back by the kitchen isn’t super loud.

Delicious all you can eat Korean bbq, sides, and appetizers. A fun interactive way to cook your food and share it with your family/friends or even date.

Update 1/19/2025: came back here to try again. Waited an hour to be seated, we were quoted 30 to 45 mins. A lot has changed on the menu, my favorite sesame beef cuts were different, they are more fatty which i don't care for. I did enjoy the brisket and royal steak. Side dishes were just ok today. My husband did enjoy the new sauced up chicken wings. Service was better this time around. Staff were friendly. Slow service. Filled up on side dishes and water because the stove was set on low, taking quite some time to cook the meat. For a party of 6, we were sat at a table with one grill only. We were there for 2 hours and only got 2 rounds of meat, sides, and appetizer for 6. I've had better service before pandemic so not sure if that's the case here. I suggest to go elsewhere.

Very good , amazing service. Highly recommend the spicy potstickers and spicy meat choices. I wish they had oil so the meat doesn’t stick to the pan. But overall definitely would come back.
