We had been to the Keg Before but it has been several years and I made a reservation for our 9 year anniversary for a nice dinner out. We were greeted and promptly seated by the friendly staff before our waiter Ben a very pleasant attentive server. When I made the reservation online I was sent a coupon for a free appetizer and we opted for the shrimp cocktail and we ordered cocktails. I had their Mai Ti and she had one of their cocktails called a Danny Ocean. The shrimp cocktail was fresh and shrimp was top quality. The drinks were both tasty and well messed but my only complaint in our entire experience was the price for what seeded like quite small drinks. With the ice there was not much room left for the drink for the prices charged. My wife ordered the salmon and her special request for how she wanted it prepared was happily taken and followed. I ordered the 12 oz New York strip with the garlic mashed potatoes med rare. She said her salmon was very good and well prepared. My steak was amazingly good. The quality of their meat is top notch and it was cooked perfectly. The garlic mashed potatoes were the best I’ve ever had and overall it was an amazing dinner. It is not cheap but for what you get and the quality it is well worth it. We will be going back again soon. If the New York strip was that good I can’t wait to try their fillet.

I've been aware of The Keg for most of my life, having visited many locations and always expecting that classic premier steakhouse experience. Unfortunately, the SanTan Village location in Gilbert fell short. Maybe being so far from its Canadian roots has caused it to lose some of its magic. Three out of four of our meals missed the mark. The couple dining with us had both of their steaks comped because they weren't cooked as ordered. Mine wasn't right either, but I didn't want to pile on. Still, when you're paying a premium at a steakhouse, you should get exactly what you ordered--that's their bread and butter. On a positive note, our waiter was fantastic. However, the experience started off on a strange note with a foul odor at the hostess stand. When we asked about it, she had no explanation. All in all, this visit was a letdown. I'd recommend giving this location a pass. Saluti

I unilaterally declare this my favorite restaurant. I love their seafood. Sea bass and tuna are my favorites. Except that the main course is a little slow to serve, there are no other shortcomings.

They say you get what you pay for. It was soooo worth every penny. Excellent food and service. We discovered this restaurant in Colorado and just came across it in Arizona. We had to come spoil ourselves again.

Loud!!! Very hard to hear over loud music and not a lot of sound barriers! Good food but not a great place for gross groups to try and converse. Highly recommend for

The Keg meals include salad, mushrooms, side and your entree 90% of the time I get the prime rib which is excellent. Their ice cream pie dessert, the Billly Miner pie is crazy good. My only complaint is my entree came out after 3 bites of my salad whilst the person next to me (at the bar) waited forever for their entree.

My husband and I hadn't been to The Keg in several years and decided to go. It was as delicious as I remembered. I got the 6 oz top sirloin with a twice baked potato and side vegetables. The steak was cooked perfectly and the seasoning was absolutely delicious. The potato was great as well as the vegetables. What I found interesting was that the vegetables were green beans and beets. I wasn't expecting beets, but they were cooked well and had a nice flavor to them. My husband got the 12 oz New York strip and garlic mashed potatoes. He absolutely devoured his meal too. The service was quick and very friendly. They provided a tasty loaf of bread with butter too. I don't know why I stayed away so long. Definitely need to come back here more frequently.

Never disappointed at The Keg. We visited for date night and had a very nice time. My wife had the prime rib, her usual choice, and enjoyed it very much. I ordered the peppercorn NY strip steak and it was simply delicious. Cooked perfectly, tender, and full of flavor. The only downside was that the twice baked potatoes were very dry and pretty bland. Our server was terrific and did a great job. I did not see a manager during our visit.
