We came here for the first time for Valentine’s Day/recently married dinner and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Awesome ambience. Everything we ate and drank was delicious. I’m not much of a seafood person but this place definitely changed my perspective. Our server, Jason, was very friendly, personable and offered fantastic suggestions for a couple of newcomers. His hospitality was so appreciated. Everything from start to finish was just top notch. We will definitely be back :)

If you don't already know, Buck & Rider has an epic happy hour. So naturally I wanted to celebrate my 50th birthday there. My expectations for food and service are high and it's not often those standards are beaten. Our server Katrina was over the top. The attention to detail, the friendly smile and even a birthday hug after dinner blew my mind. While all of the wait staff is wonderful at Buck & Rider, Katrina wins the best server ever for me. Can't wait to go back for more amazing food and service

Priority seating allowed us to be seated within 3 or 4 minutes. Our server was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and made suggestions. Pull apart dinner rolls were hot, fluffy, and delicious. Ceasar salad was a good portion, fresh, and very good. The main course for me was the crab cakes that was filled with lump crab meat and lightly pan fried. These were excellent. My fiance had the pan seared Salomon which was very good as well. I would highly recommend eating here for both the delicious food and great atmosphere! Definitely reserve ahead as the walk in wait was an hour at 4:30pm from what I heard.

Went for my wife’s birthday and had an awesome time. Riley was our server and created an amazing atmosphere and recommended awesome food. The oysters and calamari were amazing. We ordered the Yellowtail Snapper and New Orleans Red Fish. Cant wait to come back!!

My husband and I have been to all three Buck & Rider's in the Phoenix area and we love all of them. Our server Luke at the Gilbert restaurant on New Year's Eve was spectacular. The food was delicious as always and their drinks are really good as well. I had an espresso martini and old fashion last night that were very good. I highly recommend any of the Buck & Rider locations.

We were out driving looking for something new, and my husband and I stumbled on this place. We asked for a seat at the bar but there was a wait and said a table would be fine. Once we were sat we were excited to try the happy hour. Unfortunately this is only for the bar which we did not know. The server was able to quickly help make it right and get us to the bar. They handled the situation beautifully without making us feel upset or upset or uncomfortable. The found was wonderful! Fresh seafood flown in daily! Every dish we had was better than the next, and we kept saying this is our favorite no, this is our favorite. It’s pricey but worth it for the freshness and delicious food. The Smoked Trout dip was fantastic! Don’t let the simplistic look of the dish fool you, Just Wow!

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and welcoming, and the staff provided top-notch service. Sabrina, our server, was hands down the best we’ve ever had—attentive, friendly, and truly made our dining experience unforgettable. What's great is that all the servers work together to ensure every table is well taken care of. The food and drinks were exceptional, but can we talk about the biscuits? As someone from the South, I know good biscuits, and these were the best I’ve ever had. I honestly dream about them! If you haven’t been here yet, you’re missing out on something special. This is my new favorite spot.

We visited Buck and Rider twice in a single week, on both Monday and Friday. The intriguing contrast between these two days shapes my review. Firstly, the exterior can be deceiving; it may appear small, but the interior unfolds into a spacious venue with at least three different areas. Notably, there's a vast patio with an additional outdoor bar. From the outset, our experiences were exceptional. The genuinely friendly hostesses set a positive tone. The inviting atmosphere and modern aesthetics further impressed upon a quick glance. Monday, being notably calmer than Friday, boasted off-the-charts fantastic service. At times, we had multiple servers, all remarkably friendly and willing to share laughs. Friday's service, though not as speedy, remained great, understandable given the bustling customer count. Cocktails were a highlight; THE DIRECT MARTINI, with its ice-enclosed vodka bottle poured at the table, stood out. While Monday's presentation was flawless, Friday's missed some elements such as the olive spear and the lemon twist. BOBBY LOVE was consistently tasty on both days. We indulged in 30 oysters, varying in size and brininess, all notably fresh. However, a slight hiccup in the Friday order compared to Monday occurred. The clam chowder was perfectly cooked, rich with clams, and the calamari struck the right balance of crispy exterior and tender interior—loved it. The risotto, with scallops replacing shrimp, impressed with a mouthwatering sear and tender texture. Regrettably, the lobster roll fell short of expectations, with tarragon and celery veering it off course. Keeping it simple would enhance its potential. The A.O.B. burger, while tasty, lacked the desired juiciness, and the smoked cheddar and crispy shallots were too subtle. We sampled the supposed ROTATING SUSHI ROLL on both days, well-executed but disappointingly the same on both occasions, missing the expected variety. Overall, we love Buck and Rider in Gilbert, wholeheartedly recommending it. We look forward to returning, toasting to its continued success and slight improvements. Saluti!
