Osaka Japanese Steakhouse

The food is AMAZING!!! 10/10 for food and flavors. However, everything else fell short by a lot. I went there first with my family. Two of our seat were wrapped around behind where the cook show happens. When I asked about it they said it is what it is and wouldn't let us move. I then ordered double rice for extra money. When served, I received the same as everyone and the cook even said "extra rice for u" to another man at the table and gave it to him. When I ordered I also said "no teriyaki" on my meat and he put teriyaki all over my salmon. I'm diabetic and was trying to avoid extra sugar and couldn't eat the teriyaki. When I asked to speak to a manager they said there wasn't one there and to call tomorrow. When I called the next day I was given a phone number by someone from Gilbert Osaka, and told to text my issues to. I did this. Zero response. I called multiple times the Gilbert location, every time they said no manager there. When I called the Mesa location the lady said SHE received my text but I had to handle it with Gilbert manager and they will for sure be contacting me. Zero contact. I had guests in town and went to try one more time, sat in the same crappy spot on the very end wrap around where I didn't get to watch the show. I took pics to show everything. When I messaged the lady that I'd be making a help review After all this with zero rectification, there was zero response.

This was my first time experiencing a Habachi Grill. We went to Osaka Japanese Steakhouse to celebrate a birthday, which seems like the thing to do there. The food was flavourful and the little piece of dessert at the end was very delicious, it tasted like a little tiramisu cake. I didn’t find the environment good for conversation though as it’s very loud and you cannot really talk to anyone other than those seated right next to you.

A very lively place with a fun atmosphere during the preparation of your meal. The food was a little over seasoned, but that depends on the chef. Do not come here if you have a severe food allergy and cannot be in the presence of the allergen, as the food is cooked directly at your table if that is what you order.

the ambience of the restaurant makes the overall experience worth it! the food was a bit too salty from all the soy but it was still super good aside if that small issue! the best value in my option is the meal for two you can choose up to four proteins and it’s also served with a hefty portion of fried rice, a small side salad, and a miso soup to hold you over as you wait for the food to be cooked. the service on the other hand kinda sucked because the workers were annoyed anytime you question something and were in a rush to get you out it felt like. we had at least like 5/11 ppl who thought they were a little rude, aside of that i would say to definitely still try it for the experience!

We really enjoy this restaurant. Mariah took great care of us this time. She recommended the citrus roll. I always order the yellowtail nigiri and spicy scallop nigiri. My wife likes the filet mignon and seafood. The happy hour offered us shrimp Shumai. Service is always fast and friendly. Food is always fresh and delicious. Justin has been our server the last couple times. He is great, always gets our order done right and is very attentive and makes sure we have everything we need. Thank you! The Osaka roll is huge and very testy, they serve remaining lobster on the tail shell, me wife's new favorite roll. Justin came through again, always an amazing experience. Thank you!
