The wife and I stopped in for lunch, today. This was definitely one of our most pleasant dining experiences! The staff was great, the service was excellent and the food was delicious. We shared the pork belly nachos with an order of fries. I had an amber beer and the wife had a Diet Coke. Wonderful meal!

A great way to experience downtown Gilbert. Large dining area along with two private rooms and a large outdoor enclosed patio. The chopped chicken salad is excellent, the monkey bread for dessert is fun. We really miss the meatloaf, not sure why it was removed from the menu. They also have live music in the evenings. Super busy Friday and Saturday night, it's best to make reservations ahead of time for larger parties.

First time here and we will be back. This is a very large restaurant with a large patio looking on Gilbert Ave. There is a parade at the back with dedicated parking for restaurant guests. One of the picture shows the painted sign on the floor. Reservations are recommended since this place fills up at supper time. We were a party of six and all of our entrees were served in large bowls except for the fried chicken entree. I had the Peking Duck and shrimp on rice. A nice spicy hot mixture of flavours that worked well. Beer is priced well but please note the wine and cocktails by the glass are expensive. $16.50 for a glass of wine is too much in my opinion. We did enjoy our meals and the service was perfect. The place gets noisy when filled and and lighting is dim so be prepared. My cost with my wife’s meal plus 2 beers and 2 wines was $107 with a 18% tip.

Always very crowded and loud. Live music, and she was great, despite noise level. We did reserve ahead online. Appetizer was crispy Brussels, and there was NO crisp whatsoever. Sauce poured over all was tasty. My husband's fish n chips was delicious, light, fried perfect, my dish was horrible. Meat slices super tough, crispy rice was mush, barely any brocolini. Again, super sauced dish. My cocktail was fabulous. I did share the dish disappointment, and the server and manager were great about hearing me. I was offered a new dish, but not eager to wait another 20 minutes. Was offered dessert, which I passed, as they have NO GLUTEN FREE offerings..in anything. That surprised me. Again, a mixed experience, and the staff handled all fabulously.

It lived up to the hype. We ordered the pretzel bites with cheese for starters which might have been my favorite part. I ordered the steak frites which was cooked perfectly and had awesome flavor, I just wish the steak was bigger. We also ordered the chicken katsu sandwich and that was also really good and great flavor for a sandwich.

Very cool place to eat. Culinary Dropout is always a lively and yet chill place to get some decent food food and drinks. Gets pretty full on the weekends, make sure you make a reservation or you'll be waiting a while!

Big shout-out to Lawrence in the kitchen for making hands down the best breakfast sandwich to ever exist. My taste buds won't be forgetting that amazing meal in a long time! We visited here on a Saturday morning for brunch around 10:30am. Very fast service, no wait time, and attentive staff. Our waitress Samantha was very kind and easily reachable any time I had a request. We both got the Sicilian lemonade stand and I had the breakfast sandwich while my partner had the shaved prime rib dip. The lemonade was pretty sour! I like my lemonade sweeter but my partner loves his sour and he really enjoyed the drink. He said his meal was pretty good, the horseradish wasn't over powering, the meat cuts weren't fatty, and the flavors were great but the bread itself didn't compliment the sandwich well. He felt it needed a more denser bread to help soak up the flavors of the broth and meat without falling apart. My sandwich was heaven. The hash brown was crispy, it wasn't too try or wet, and the potatoes on the side were also cooked crispy but flavorful. The spicy mayo it comes with was too spicy for my mouth to handle but I received it on the side and the parts I did pare it with definitely elevated the flavor of the sandwich. 10/10 for this breakfast. Will definitely want to come back to try their other items after how amazing that one was.

First time ever at a culinary dropout and I am very impressed. The atmosphere was super chill. The service was awesome and the food was beyond amazing. We ate the deviled eggs for the appetizer and then shared (they even split the portions in half for us) a salad and the most amazing curry I’ve ever had! I will definitely make the effort to go back here when in Arizona again.
