On Last Saturday 03/01/2025 My husband and some friends came in from out of town. All day we had questionable service. A great experience, provided by an amazingly well mannered and high spirited server. She had well put an away curls, she was from Arizona. She quickly greeted us, brought a bread that reminded me of visits to France and made sure to get our order. Quickly brought out appetizers and drinks She made sure we felt at home. Drinks were well on time. Never had to ask for a service she thought of everything ahead of time. I believe her name was Diana like the princess. (Forgive me if I am wrong ) We had wings and the drums were equal to the flats something I haven’t quite experienced before. Wings are a must if you enjoy chicken! The lobster fondu over the salmon was absolutely comfort. The Temperature was cooked perfect. Tenderly mixing with the lobster fondu. Medley of veg were also tender. I had no desire to add any salt or pepper but only to enjoy the flavors already given by the kitchen staff. If you ever get the chance it is a must try experience. I enjoyed my Riesling, and tequila was smooth and chilled well. While my counterparts enjoyed their pasta and sides. The ribs fell short in flavor. They were tender however. They aren’t recommended. The Long islands ordered, were perfectly balanced. The chairs and table space were unfortunately not comfortable but on this night it was very cold and the wait was long. Sitting by the fireplace and getting a table made it with it. The over all experience was about a 4.5 out of 5 only due to the ribs. My personal experience was 100% when it came to what I ordered. I may come back just for this dish and service ! A time was had!

We had dinner here. We loved the food although service was a little slow and it was a little loud. I will forgive since it was a Friday night. The tomahawk chop was delicious as were the roasted carrots that came with them. The baja shrimp pasta was light and very tasty. The deviled eggs were great!

First time here. Our waitress Heather was super sweet, kept on top of our refills and had a smile/positive attitude the entire time. Food was really good, I got the Garlic Roasted sirloin cooked medium rare and it was cooked absolutely perfect and had great flavor. My boyfriend got the Wood Grilled NY strip, the flavor was also really good. Both steaks were very tender

For the past 20 years, my family has been weekly visitors to Firebirds, and it has become so much more than just a place to grab a meal. It's where we celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and all of our special occasions. It's where we go for our regular dinners out, and every time we walk through the door, we know we’re going to have an exceptional experience. We continue to return not only because the food is outstanding but because of the incredible staff that has truly made Firebirds a part of our lives. Over the years, they’ve been there for us in so many ways—most memorably by catering my sister’s wedding rehearsal dinner. Several of the managers even attended, showing just how much they care about their customers beyond the restaurant walls. They truly go above and beyond to make every experience personal and memorable. Most recently, I had a heartwarming experience that I want to highlight, which truly sets Firebirds apart. I’m a teacher at a local elementary school in Hoover City Schools, and we recently held a Career Day event. Josh Garrison, one of the managers at Firebirds, went above and beyond to make a real impact on our students. He took time out of his busy morning to come present to several different groups about what it’s like to be a restaurant manager and how to run a restaurant. But what really stood out was how Josh went beyond just talking about the logistics of the job. He spoke to the kids about the leadership qualities that managers need—things like responsibility, communication, and problem-solving—and how they can start developing these qualities now, as kids, to become leaders in their own lives. Josh’s presentation was engaging, insightful, and inspiring. The students were completely captivated by his words and were able to relate to the idea that leadership starts with them, no matter their age. It was clear that Josh cares deeply about not just his work but also about giving back to the community and helping shape the next generation of leaders. I couldn’t be more thankful to him for taking time out of his busy day to be a part of our Career Day. His dedication to both his job and to the students made a lasting impact. And, of course, let’s not forget the food. Firebirds never disappoints. Some of my favorites include the Lobster Spinach Queso, the Big Daddy Chocolate Cake, and the Garlic Sirloin. Every dish is packed with flavor, and it's impossible to walk away unsatisfied. We love Firebirds, and we love everyone there. It’s more than just a restaurant—it’s a family, and we are so grateful to be a part of it. If you haven’t been yet, I highly recommend it—not only for the fantastic food but for the amazing people, like Josh, who go above and beyond to make every visit unforgettable.

Seated quickly, to my surprise! Server got drink order, and then food order. My wife ordered 7oz bacon wrapped filet w mashed potatoes. I ordered the 3 entre dinner with sirloin, mashed potatoes, and mixed vegetables. Food was delivered to the table in a fair amount of time and looked great. See the pictures below. Both hers and my potatoes were cold along with my "crunchy" mixed vegetables, evidently not cooked or steamed completely. My steak was bland and luke warm. My wife's filet was absolutely DISGUSTING. After one (1) bite, she knew it wasn't for her and tasted "different." I tried a piece, and she was right. It tasted like tainted pork, and I didn't even eat any of the bacon. Her dinner was done after that. I finished as much as I wanted of mine and asked for the cheesecake that came with my order. It must have been over 10 minutes of waiting. I asked for a mgr and explained the situation to him. He was apologetic and understanding. The best part of the dinner was the bread served before the entre. We've eaten at the chain before in Daytona FL, and it was a much greater experience. We may try again at some point, but definitely not in the near future. Just sad and disappointing.

We had my birthday dinner here. They recommend reservations. We forgot to make them but was seated quickly. The server was the best. The food was fabulous.

Pretty disappointed, granted it was NYE… service was slow - 15 min before greeted and got waters. It was almost an hour before we got our food. My partners shrimp was charred and rubbery unfortunately. For the price, I’d expected a little more Chilean sea bass and the crème brûlée was the redeeming variable for our visit. Overall 3/5, would not return.

This is really one of the best restaurants in Birmingham. We always get consistently amazing service, great food, in a beautiful relaxing atmosphere. We attended a 70th birthday party here tonight and everyone was so friendly and made our visit a lot of fun. Five stars!
