Customer Review Summary
Perry's Steakhouse & Grille offers a high-end dining experience with exceptional food and service. The ambiance is upscale but can feel cramped due to close table arrangements, which may lead to noise and disruptions from nearby diners. Dress code enforcement seems inconsistent, allowing for casual attire. Prices are on the higher side, but patrons feel the quality of the food justifies the cost, with highlights including the pork chops and seafood options. Service is generally attentive, enhancing the overall dining experience. Reservations may lead to significant wait times, which can detract from the experience. Overall, the restaurant is highly recommended for its delicious food and inviting atmosphere, especially for special occasions.

Fancy place welcome to all. They welcome anyone of any dress, though it says all over their website, there's a dress code. The last time I went, I saw someone with blue jeans and a bright red Trump hat. His shirt had a fishing joke on it. The food is pretty pricey. Perfect for if you want to show off to your date. The tables are cramped, and servers are swarming everywhere because of it. No walk space, you'll have a server's bottom in your face while you're eating, as they wait for a clearing for them to walk two tables over to the dude who had 4 drinks too many. The servers won't stop you from ordering a drink since that would lose them money. I hope the guy wasn't driving, but most likely, he was. This place has the potential to be awesome, but it has the same problem most places along 280 have. Lots of bells and whistles to claim the "Higher class" restaurant title. Then they shove tables as close as they can to make up for the number of guests. I could hear all the conversations from the 4 tables around me, and another drunk dude almost hit me multiple times, swinging his arms around as gestures to his stories. The food was pretty nice, however. I highly recommend the Chocolate Crunch Tower.

Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille in Birmingham delivers an exceptional dining experience that truly deserves five stars! From start to finish, everything about my visit was outstanding. The meal began with the oyster starter, which was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented—a perfect way to kick off the evening. For the main course, I chose the steak and lobster tail combination, and both were absolutely divine. The steak was cooked to perfection, tender and seasoned impeccably, while the lobster tail was rich, succulent, and perfectly complemented the meal. The sides were just as impressive. The creamy spinach was indulgent and well-balanced, while the mushroom side dish added a lovely earthy flavor that paired perfectly with the steak. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and packed with flavor. The service was also exceptional. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure every detail of our meal was taken care of. The staff’s professionalism and warmth added to the overall experience, making it truly memorable. The ambiance of the restaurant was upscale yet inviting, providing the perfect setting for a special evening out. Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille is a must-visit for anyone in Birmingham looking for top-notch food and service. I can’t wait to return.

Excellent food and service. The atmosphere is beautiful, with the only caveat being it's hard to hear people sitting at the same table talk. I'm not prone to having this problem anywhere, so I know it's out of my ordinary. I do want to say that they were very busy so I'm sure that had a lot to do with it. They food costs a small fortune, but I'll admit, it is absolutely 100% top notch delicious. The steak, the wedge salad, the pork bites appetizer... everything was so good. Service speed was on point, and the waitress was cool and kind. Summary: Excelent all around, high priced, but the value is obvious in the tatse of the food you eat.

I was brought here as a Christmas present by a friend and I had heard so many good things and they were all true. I tried the ribeye which was good but not as good as their fabulous pork chop. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and although it was a large place, we were seated in a side room which helped to keep the volume down and helped the night be more charming and intimate. I can not say enough good things about my experience and look forward to trying it again😁

I am not one to order pork chops, but their chops are fabulous and huge. We got the Friday lunch special along with brussel sprouts and had enough to bring home for another meal. The lunch chop is 8 ounces. If you take home leftovers, they give you a fresh whole loaf of bread. The wait for our table was 40 minutes (with a reservation), but once we were seated, our food came very quickly.

Perry’s is absolutely our favorite restaurant for their exceptional food and service, and it hurts me to only give it four stars. The issue is the time that you have to wait past your reservation to be seated. On my last visit, it was over 45 minutes, and the waiting area was shoulder to shoulder with the exception of a narrow walkway from the door to the desk.

This place was nothing short of amazing. We went here for a birthday party and it was the best choice. Upon arrival they valet your vehicle for you and once we entered it took about two minutes to be seated. The ambiance was nice, and over all esthetic of the restaurant was pleasant. Our server was professional, knew the menu, explained everything in detail, and he met all of our needs throughout the evening. When it comes to the food I’ll just put it this way you won’t find a picture of my steak because I ate it just that fast before I could remember to take one lol. The food was above par and I have not one complaint about the place. Simply amazing! The scallops were cooked to perfection and the crab cakes were definitely more crab than cake if you get what I’m saying. The pork chop bites were small bites of heaven.

I've been to Perry's several times, and the food never disappoints. Of course, the pork chops are always a hit whether you get the bites as an appetizer or an entrée. I had the chicken breast topped with lump crab this time, along with a tatse of the chops from someone's plate. 😊 The chicken seasonings were a bit spicy/salty, and there wasn't enough lump crab to taste it. The asparagus was large and didn't have a lot of flavor, maybe because of the chicken. All sides are sharable. I had a spoon of mac n and cheese that was tasty. The loaded mashed potatoes were really good. I had two spoons of that. If you want the full experience of the ambiance, great wait staff, and food all in one, go after this busy season is over or during lunch.
