Unfortunately, everything was very disappointing. The service was not very attentive. We sometimes had to wait 30 minutes for our drinks. Our food then took another hour until it was finally served. The lobster mac and cheese was discussing The quality of the meat was OK. The atmosphere was not very inviting. It was very loud. One positive point was that they were accommodating with the price, but we won't be coming back again. For these high prices, what was offered was really disappointing.

Smooth was an excellent server! Our food came out perfect. We started with Benton’s bacon and fried green tomatoes, and both were incredibly creative and well executed dishes. Simple food taken to the next level, with a classy balance of richness and acid. Kudos to the chef! Next, I had the burger and my parents got the ribeye and filet. Everything was delectable, and the steaks were cooked *perfectly* rare. I wish we had gotten pictures of our food, but it was refreshing to just live in the moment and enjoy the comfortable, upscale atmosphere and great service. I did get pictures of dessert though! We had to try both- and we still could not decide which was best. :) I will definitely be coming back here!

We had a really enjoyable dinner here this evening. The service was great. The restaurant manager was very friendly and professional. We started off with Crab cakes, which were some of the best we’ve ever had. The steak was cooked perfectly and was really good. The ambiance was also really nice. We will definitely be back again.

Had a delicious dinner. The tomahawk pork chop was great and so much food! Hannah knew the menu and had great suggestions. She was super attentive making sure our meal was perfect. And I found a wine from one of my favorite vineyards back home (Victor Hugo)! Never expected to see that so far from home. 10/10 recommend!

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Dillard’s Chophouse in Uptown Birmingham. I waited in line for about 10 minutes to be seated and then sat at my table for nearly 50 minutes—a total of 1 hour—with no water, no menu, and no service. When I flagged down Sam, he told me Ryan was the server and he was just assisting. However, after another 15 minutes, no one ever came back to check on me. Sam never offered to help my table directly or resolve the issue. Meanwhile, a group of four white women arrived after me and were promptly served with menus and drinks. They even spent time chatting with the staff about whether the restaurant was hiring. It was clear they were being prioritized over me, which was incredibly disheartening. Upon leaving the restaurant, I noticed a man in a black Dillard’s Steakhouse shirt approach the table of the young white women I previously mentioned. Shortly after, I left the restaurant, and as I walked out of the entrance, I saw the same man enter the restroom. I waited to speak with him, and when he came out, I asked if he was the manager. He identified himself as Kevin Joyce, the general manager of the Tuscaloosa location. Kevin said this location was “in trouble” and made more excuses, claiming they only had one server—even though I had seen him walking around checking on select tables. His dismissive attitude made it clear he didn’t genuinely care about my experience. He even tried to lighten the situation by offering me a fist bump, which only added to the impression that he wasn’t taking my concerns seriously. The staff seemed more focused on watching people come and go rather than providing service, and the clear favoritism toward certain customers was unacceptable. Spending an hour waiting with no acknowledgment or service, and then being dismissed by someone in a leadership role, was a terrible experience. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes immediate improvements to their service, accountability, and customer treatment.

After a not so great experience on my first visits, the GM personally invited me and my family back and it was a total 360. Was sat down immediately and had excellent from my waiter named Asha. She made the dinner experience exceptional. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave some excellent recommendations. She was pleasant and very attentive. The food was amazing starting from the bread and house butter. Had the New Orleans bbq shrimp, 16oz Delmonico Steak(was enough for 2), loaded baked potato, onion rings, Asparagus. Everything was perfectly cooked and wait time was not long. I highly recommend this restaurant. Hopefully you can get Asha as server

Located at the Westin. I've eaten here and had drinks on several occasions. It's a little pricy as per most chophouses, but the food, drinks, and atmosphere are always superb.

This was my birthday dinner celebration for being 4O years old. My server Asha was amazing! Very informative and pleasant. She was super attentive, all while training such great service. The food was not as good as Asha. The lamb was ok, the Rosoto was overcooked, and the sea bass was bland. and the crab cakes were awful. They were like a southern style salmon patty, and ours were burnt. The best part of the meal had to be the cheesecake. It was very good. My first drink was a lemon drop and made wrong, and their specialty strawberry basil drink was horrible. And Top it all off the food made us sick and we were in the bathroom all night.
