La Oficina Steakhouse & Cantina

Our family foodie suggested that we go to La Oficina to try their $14 lunch special. The Steak Bites appetizer was scrumptious. My son enjoyed the Chicken Risotto. My niece and I had the Picanha (steak) with two sides. Everything was delicious! The service was outstanding. If you are ever in Virginia Beach Monday-Friday, stop by for lunch. You will not be disappointed.

Great spot in Virginia Beach. I ordered the pork chops and they tasted like they came off the grill in my backyard. So good. Seasoned and cooked just right. I wasn't as impressed with the drinks (Espresso Martini, French 75 and an Old Fashion), but I would definitely come back to eat.

The food and service were great! Everyone was very friendly. The octopus was delicious and tender. The Caesar salad was really good. The steak was great and the pistachio cake was super interesting.

FINALLY!!! A steak that is seasoned, tasty and melts in your mouth. This lunch that I had with my husband was phenomenal. I made sure to let them know that this steak was amazing. They also had grilled octopus which was very delicious and well cooked. The shrimp appetizer was OK, needed some salt but I'm not taking a star off because that steak was next level delicious lol. Service was great, food phenomenal. We will most definitely return.

The food was pretty good the fillet , and the burger were excellent , the shrimp app was seasoned nice but it wasn’t great shrimp. I enjoyed a mojito happy hour from 4-6 Monday through Friday 7$ drinks, 9$ apps. They had great steak bites . The service was a little off and maybe that was just because of training . I wouldn’t suggest the other steak it was pretty tough and fatty. The fillet though was excellent . Might as well go with that. We had a good experience here overall

Really enjoyed it here. Great hang out spot. The steak platter was very juicy & cooked perfectly medium rare like we ordered. The handheld torch for searing is always neat. Pair it with side of risotto. The whole table can just share & split. Portions are huge! Empanadas were my fave, filled with rib eyes instead of ground beef. Tiramasu just melted away 😁 Definitely coming back & highly recommended. Pretty casual dress. There's no need to be too fancy. The tables are very small and the music is too loud for me, everyone is packed together. (Sushi on Wednesdays)

Great clean restaurant with pleasant staff wonderful service. Food was delicious, well-made and good portions. The guacamole so fresh! The steak seasoned so well! Will definitely come again when we are in the Virginia Beach area ♥️

Great low-key steak house in an unassuming spot. The food was excellent, and very reasonable. Steaks come with 2 sides (not a la carte), and while the sides were fine (nothing special), the steaks themselves were the main event, good sizes, nicely seasoned and cooked perfectly. Both the ribeye and the tenderloin turned out great. And don't forget to ask for the optional chimichurri and hot sauces (pictured) - they take the meal to the next level. Highly recommended!
