An upscale restaurant looking over James river with beautiful views of the river in daytime. Food was great and portions were large. I ordered calamari and it was almost 3 times as much as what I regularly get as an appetizer. The gentleman serving me spent time making sure I understand the items on the menu and choose the best option. The interior is beautiful and almost everyone was dressed up! I enjoyed my food which was grilled salmon with vegetables and mashed potato and had a beer before the main with the calamari. The price was on the expensive end of the spectrum but the quality and the venue justified it

My husband and I are visiting from out of town. The atmosphere was really nice and our hostesses were very accommodating with our reservation. We had the delight of having Emma as our waitress and she was a doll. She was very accommodating. we were inside during happy hour, and I asked her if we could move our table outside, even though it was a little chilly and she made it a smooth transition, and we kept her as our waitress out there because she was so sweet and kind. The food was really good as well and everything was delicious. Would definitely go back!

We got some oysters, scallops, shrimp, crab cakes, salmon and it was all delicious! Great service, food & experience! We will definitely be recommending this restaurant and our waiter, Sam. Visiting in town with my family and our first night we wanted something close to our air bnb. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was nice and not crowded for 6:30pm on a Wednesday. I had Tacos and fries with Brussels sprouts. No reservation needed. We will be back for lunch before we leave.

The food was wonderful as always and our server Sam was outstanding. He is extremely knowledgeable about the menu, kind, and attentive. He even took incredible photos for us at the end of the night in between cleaning off tables.

We came here for brunch today and loved everything! Food was delicious, and service and atmosphere were great. Wish we lived closer.. would highly recommend.

Very pretty location overlooking the river. Was surprised to see how empty it was at 1000 on Sunday since they do a nice brunch menu. The shrimp and grits were excellent, definitely recommend. Parking was easy on the street and there is also a free lot nearby. Outside seating was very pleasant with a nice breeze and direct view of the boats going by. Very peaceful.
