Absolute DOODOO. DOO not go here. They advertised $1 tacos & I inquired about them asking what tacos they had. She gave me the full list of tacos & never explained to me that only the beef were $1. The steak tacos tasted off & one of my tacos had a bone in it. My bill for 6 tacos was $31. There was a worker sitting on her phone at the counter.

I went here for my birthday dinner. My reservation was originally for 6, they had another event so I was asked to change my reservation to 6:30. Fine, no big deal. Guests were there and I arrived about 15 mins after, no one was ever asked what/if they wanted to eat, only drinks. We were told that the head chef left at 7, which was odd especially knowing you have a group coming in, BUT the food was still good! We all order and it comes out rather quickly, so I was impressed with that! They ran out of silverware, which was strange because it was only about 20 people in the building and 10 were with me. They ran out of glasses from the bar so they substituted our drinks in other glasses, again that’s fine. Our tables were NEVER cleared off the entire time, we just kept moving things hoping someone would pick them up. Our server was really nice and seemed like she was doing her best. For my first time there, I don’t think it’s worth the $100 reservation fee when the place wasn’t packed and we could’ve walked in and sat, with no problem. I was supposed to have birthday shots , which were never offered at all. The highlight of that place was the food, so I commend them for that!

The photos are misleading in showing how unfinished the place is. The tables are small, the floorboards were coming up and “booths” were essentially cushions stapled to the wall. The menu is completely overpriced and doesn’t even list any non-alcoholic beverages. The music was so loud we could barely hear each other despite sitting at such a small table. It also kept cutting out at weird times. To tie the entire experience together, most of table got their food while 2 others had to wait an extra 10ish mins or not receive their food until we were about to leave. The food was subpar and definitely not worth the price we paid.

Arrived on a Friday evening just before five and was there for a little over an hr. One guy running the place with bar and drink service until close to 6 when a women arrived for her shift. Tucked away between other building without their name visible from far away. Picked this place because it was close to the Berkley hotel. Small area we were seated in the far table closest to the kitchen door. The Buffalo shrimp were delicious even without the ranch that was supposed to be served with it. Thick crunchy batter and a light heat to the Buffalo sauce. Husband had the bacon cheese burger was good but the cuts on the vegetables such as his onion and my cucumber in my side salad was thick and inconsistent. Can tell the chef does not have knife work. My fish platter was huge whitey fish is what the server said it was. I asked for lemon for my fisb and was served small pieces from the bar station. Over all everything was good. But the service was slow and he made our bar drinks before ever bringing us water like he said he was going to do when he first sat us down. Too much grenadine in the richmond sunset. And chef needs some knife work. Play some music.

Came to support black businesses for rva restaurant week and honestly had taste for a steak. This is NOT a steakhouse. Literally 2 steaks on the menu. Having been to steakhouses I was immensely disappointed. I tried a few things. Salmon bites were really good. Sauce was on point. Salmon friend crispy and juicy/flaky inside. Fish platter was whiting( cheaper fish) with fries&a side salad. Dressing was good. Fish was pretty big portion(3). Also tried the wings with mambo sauce. Wings were fried hard. Great. Yet this was not mambo sauce. I’m glad I got it on the side. The drink was really tasty. And the drink menu listed the items in it. I’ll be going to buy the stuff to make it. Overall. Decent. Gave me bar vibe. Definitely not a steakhouse.

Best Steak in Richmond! Ashley really knows how to treat his guests to a fine meal! I had the Filet Mignon with Asparagus and Mashed Potatoes. Everything was cooked to perfection. The music really set the mood and helped to wash the stress of the day away. There is a full bar here and great company. If you just need to get out for a couple hours, drop in and say hello.

Honestly was the nastiest restaurant I’ve ever been to in Virginia. The prices and 18% gratuity made me think maybe the food could have potential. This food was horribly salty, my friend’s mashed potatoes were horrible and so was their drink. The owner actually came and asked us how our food was, once we told him all he had to say was “I’m sorry about that”. This is a prime reason why as a block woman I rarely go to black owned restaurants. They are usually all lack luster, especially this one.

We walked past this place and the guy standing outside was like this is a black owned business and they were doing brunch. We stopped by and had a pitcher of strawberry mimosa , chicken and waffles and shrimp. Food was hot and fresh . Came out quickly . There was. DJ playing some good Sunday jam music. Will be coming back next time I’m in Richmond
