Circa is perfect for a nice dinner or date night. The menu offers a clever selection of classics with ingenious twists. Every dish was full of incredible flavor combinations that had us tantalized with each bite! Their extensive wine menu and creative cocktail list provide plenty of options for diners. Reservations are recommended, due to the size of the venue and justifiable demand for each seat.

Circa 1918 is pure perfection and I can't believe I was honored enough to get a reservation there on a Saturday night! This restaurant is located on a little cute strip, filled with vintage looking shops. It's cozy on the outside and in the inside. The ambiance at night is giving romantic date night. It's a pretty tight space but it gives an intimate feel. I personally love that. I went here because one of my friends said that it is his favorite restaurant. He explained how their menu frequently changes and is chef-curated. He really hyped it up. And the experience I had here with friends really lived up to the hype!! Immediately waking up, the hostess greeted us with upbeat and high energy and she quickly seated us as well. The hostess also ended up being our waitress. She was very well-informed and knew the food and drinks like the back of her hand. I'm always impressed when waitstaff know what they're talking about because I've been in their shoes before. So I know the work it takes to get like that. We started with a house appetizer. I don't remember what it was exactly but it was all beautifully topped on a slice of naan. It really started off the night on a great note. Our appetizers were the charred octopus, beef gyoza, and the fried oysters. Our drinks were excellent craft cocktails that I don't remember the names of. But each one was gorgeous and delicious! Next up, we had the grilled asiago bread, bison meatloaf, pan seared duck breast, and the seared jumbo sea scallops. Goodness. Not a single disappointment in any of these dishes that I listed. Maybe one disappointment is that I couldn't have unlimited charred octopus and duck breast... LOL. I often get lost in thinking about the charred octopus here. It was crispy on the outside with the perfect amount of char, but yet it was soft and tender in the inside. I got my duck cooked at medium rare. The duck breast melted in my mouth. I didn't want the experience to end. Overall, this place is absolutely worth the hype and is all the rage. I'm 1000000% coming back here when I'm back in town again.

I went here for a professional dinner. I had wanted to visit here for two years and did not have the chance. It was more than I could have hoped for. Kip was fantastic and referred to each of us by name with every encounter. The food was exquisite, the atmosphere and vibe incredible, and every single staff member was a pleasure to interact with. I had the beef filet, rare, and it melts in your mouth. I am not easily impressed with steak, but I must say that this was probably the best filet I have ever had. It far exceeded the taste and presentation of other comparable high-end restaurants in the area. I will be going back to try the bison meatloaf, which I was told was the only item on the menu that has not changed in 17 years due to its popularity. I will also be scheduling more professional “wine and dines” for recruitment efforts here.

Love this little gem! Great meeting place between Atlanta and Greenville. Ambience was a joy - quiet with soft classical music made it very easy to converse. Chef does an amazing job with the southern cuisine, especially the squash soup and shrimp & grits. The shaved brussel sprout salad was amazing! Wine is very affordable as are all of the delightful sides. I would not say it is a steak house (mine was a tad overdone) but the crab cakes were great per my other dining partners. Desserts are creative and delicious - we had the apple bread pudding and friends had the cheesecake with blood orange sauce. Very good food and very affordable! We will be back.
It’s A Wonderful Life
I highly recommend making a reservation at Circa, especially on a special occasion! The level of professionalism displayed by the staff is impressive, and the 4-course meal is both delicious and uniquely flavored. The presentation of the dishes is also exceptional. We anticipate returning for more visits and bringing along family members to share in the experience.

4.6⭐️ We decided on this place for our anniversary dinner and man were we pleased with our choice! We were given some champagne for our anniversary. We each got a glass of wine, I got moscato, my husband got Riesling, and we both got sparkling water. We got the octopus to share and that was so tender, and the hummus they lay it on makes it that much better! Highly recommend that! I got the Bison meatloaf and that was the best meatloaf I’ve ever had! I’m not a meatloaf person normally, I’m not sure why it sounded so good that night, but it was an awesome choice. My husband got the special for the night. They said seared shrimp and he was sold. It was pretty much shrimp and grits. He said it was amazing though. We left no room for dessert, so we’ll have to try that next time. The staff is really good about making sure no empty plates are left at your table. Our waitress was very nice, explained the menu really well and gave recommendations. The only downfall is the restaurant is really small inside. Not a lot of seating at all, and the tables are a little close together because of that. I didn’t feel comfortable enough sitting and staying for a while. And my husband is over 6 and a half feet tall, so I know he felt uncomfortable also. But we both loved the food, and definitely want to go back, just when it’s not crowded. But I do highly recommend to everyone!

I cannot say enough good things about circa 1918. I was finally able to go this week for restaurant week. I loved it so much I made another reservation for this week. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is superb and the service is none other. They make you feel like you're the only client in the restaurant. And did I mention the food?
