Texas Roadhouse

Went for the first time ever, on my birthday. Service was good but had to wait on refills, steak wasn't done enough and they tried to take the steak I cut into three separate pieces with the fork & knife I already used back to cook it longer which I think is SUPER unsanitary. I had to ask for a whole new steak. The new steak was overcooked & unseasoned and none of the onions & mushrooms that come on it. I did not complain about second steak or the missing onions & mushrooms because I was already over it & it was my birthday. IF I went back I definitely would not order steak! Everything else was really good tho!!

I'm not a huge fan of posting just to complain. However, after spending nearly $70 for curbside takeout, I thought others may want to know. We ordered dinner tonight from Texas Roadhouse in Chesapeake on Battlefield Blvd. The order was missing a salad, the rolls were burnt, and bacon bits burnt to a crisp. Also ordered a side of steak fries. Looked like a toddler just grabbed a handful and tossed them in. I guess you can't order takeout anymore unless you are okay with burnt food, small portions & missing items for a big dollar amount. We used to love to order from them, but this is the second time the order has been messed up, so I think we are done.

First time going to this location, our server did an amazing job, very friendly guy.. the food tasted amazing. The only thing was the sweet tea wasn’t very sweet, but there’s always room for improvements I would recommend this place to anyone and we will go back again. Thank yall for being a great host for lunch..

Chili was great. Has a Texas feel to it for sure. The salmon was not good at all. Vegetables with the salmon were decent. Fried pickles with blossom sauce were lovely. The atmosphere was nice, as most any Texas Roadhouse. Rosa provided a simple yet most enjoyable experience. She is a delight as a server and shows some passion in providing hospitality to people. She made me feel less like a customer and more like a friend or acquaintance. Thank you, Rosa!

Had a great birthday dinner for my husband. He even said he would rather come here for about the same price and much better hamburger steak than Cracker Barrel. Service was fantastic, food price was great for the amount of food. Even my girlfriend said she couldn't believe how inexpensive her check was. We haven't been back here for a few years but plan to return in the near future.

You’re better off walking to England than waiting for their curbside. I am disabled and cannot leave my car easily so curbside is my go to. My food was ready at 4:36 (notified via text). They proceeded to not bring out my food or answer the phone, but would bring out other people’s food. I was parked at curbside like everyone else. I checked in. Awful awful experience. Won’t be coming back. By the time I got my food, it was cold and soggy and gross.

Michael was our waiter today on 2/15 at 11:32 AM. He was very friendly and we wanted everyone to know that his energy was predominantly the reason that our lunch was so enjoyable. Our food came out fast and it was cooked perfectly. We recommend the Ribeye steak, Mushroom Jack Chicken and sweet potato. Thank you for all that you do Michael. We also appreciate all of your staff members that we’ve encountered today.
