The food was really good and we were sat almost immediately with our reservation. The atmosphere was a little bit hipster but nothing against the restaurant. The restaurant was a little bit loud during busy lunch rush but overall was a good place to eat. We had the copper onion burger, with arugala salad and the ricotta dumplings. Would definitely recommend. They were incredible.

Had a lovely Saturday afternoon brunch with Simon tending bar. Couldn’t ask for a more chill and friendly experience sitting at the bar. Copper Onion Burger, slapped. Copper Onion Breakfast Sandwich, slapped. Drinks, perfectly crafted brunch beverages that paired nicely with the sandwiches. The beef stock in the Bloody Bull is an inspired choice that adds a touch of class to the flavor profile. Can’t forget to talk about the crispy home fries that rocked my world, and the glorious house-made pickles that had the perfect brine and crunch to them.

Was in town for the weekend and we came here on our first day for lunch, and back on our last day for dinner. Did not regret coming twice at all. This place is amazing. Delicious food and great service. If I'm in ever in town again I will definitely be coming back.

TLDR: Food was a bit salty 🧂 (4/5) Wagyu beef stroganoff: Tender beef, perfectly al dente noodles, great variety of mushrooms. The only thing keeping it from being 5 stars was the saltiness. The mushrooms were right on the edge of over-salted and it definitely took away from the enjoyment of the dish. You can always add salt to your taste, but you can't take it away. (4/5) Goat cheese salad: Same deal here; right on the edge of over-salted. The greens were crisp and fresh, the breaded and fried goat cheese was lovely, and the vinaigrette was yummy, but I think they finished the salad with salt and pepper and it was too much. (5/5) Roasted carrots: Perfectly cooked carrots with bite. So many restaurants overcook their carrots to mush but not this place. Loved the garlic and chili crisp contrast with the creamy yogurt and avocado. (5/5) House pickles: Delicious and crunchy. (4/5) Carrot cake: Would have preferred more cream cheese frosting. Wasn't dry, but could've been more moist. Loved the thinly sliced fried carrots on top. - Service was wonderful - Restaurant is beautiful Would recommend this place to friends and family!

Copper Onion is a great place to grab some food in Salt Lake. The restaurant can be a bit noisy but has a pretty good atmosphere overall with friendly staff. Highly recommend ordering the patatas bravas as an appetizer! The Copper Onion Burger is arguably my favorite burger in SLC. Phenomenal flavor but very rich in taste! Add the cheddar and bacon to the burger to elevate it even more- well worth it! The also have very good homemade pickles. For the quality and portion of food, very reasonably priced!

We had the mushroom, dumpling, and fries for appetizers. All were real good. For dinner we had Mary’s chicken and the carbonara pasta with chicken. It all tasted good. Prices are not cheap but the food and presentation make it why that is.

Great place, like the vibe and the waiters here are amazing. Little disappointed at the food, mostly tasted bland. My friends ordered a salad, meatloaf with pork belly and cauliflower as appetizers, I ordered the cast iron chicken. The pork belly tasted really good, but the sauce didn’t give much flavor. The chicken I ordered, the sauce was not very flavorful, carrots were a little hard, and the chicken was kinda dry.

The night started with a phone call to make a reservation. I was informed they only accept wait lists once arrived on the building. After arriving I was asked to put a name down, it was unexpected that there was availability for early dining on a Friday night. I was expecting to be turned away. To my surprise they were very accommodating and went above and beyond for a special occasion. I had their Cacio e pepe to start and left a portion for the steak frites. I asked for the Starter trio cauliflower, brussel sprouts to arrive at the same time with the entree's Steak frites Duck à l'orange, and they did. All the dishes arrived hot. The brown butter brought out the taste of the pasta. Steak frites The steak was smooth with a thin seered crust which was delicious. Frites were golden brown, crispy and perfect! Duck à l'orange This was what I was looking forward to the most . The farro and veggies were lightly seasoned by the confit. I enjoy how tender and crispy the duck was. Creme puff The choux was soft and airy, it held up with the warm chocolate filling. It was a nice touch to end the night. Visually everything looked out together. Their service was well timed, attentive and dedicated. The noise level in the background was pretty loud on my visit and it made it challenging for conversation. I'm looking forward to having the bone marrow and a few other offerings on my next visit.
