Great atmosphere for date night, birthday celebration, or business meetings. Food was great. Steak was amazing. I was told that they cook on the rarer side so I ordered medium and it still came out VERY rare so be aware of that. Service was great, very on top of water and drink refills.

Delicious meal in SLC. We went with the bacon per our server’s suggestion and it was excellent! Our other favorite was the lamb chops, the elk was good too (although we wished we would’ve ordered medium rare instead of medium). Great service and big portions, definitely recommend!

Eric was a phenomenal server! Don't believe everything you read. We were hesitant after reviews but got here and had phenomenal service from start to finish. We started with the bread and honey butter, and it was delightful! The ahi tuna was a little spicy but chilled so well. The dinner salad was great with blue cheese. The caramelized onions were a great touch. The calamari chowder was too heavy seasoned, making me want the salad. The cowboy butter was a great touch to the ribeye. The lamb chops were a little underseasoned and overcooked, so the sauce underneath made the taste so much better. The asparagus was crispy but so well seasoned. We got two desserts to go as well because we were so full. What the food lacked the service made up for we were well attended to all night, including being offered parking validation .

12/10 Francisco was amazing food was incredible my wife and I went for our 3 year anniversary and we’re not disappointed. Some of the best food we have had in Utah. Great ambience and vibe would recommend to all friends and family

“Did We Enter the Witness Protection Program?” Apparently, once you put your fork and knife down at Spencer’s, you become completely invisible. We sat there for over 12 minutes waiting for a server to acknowledge our existence—plenty of time to contemplate life, question our choices, and consider learning telepathy to summon help. Meanwhile, my well-done steak was bleeding all over the plate like it had just lost a fight, and by the time we could finally flag someone down, I had emotionally moved on from the meal. Expected more from an upscale downtown steakhouse. Not returning. Would wait for days to get a table at another steak place before I ever return here. Two stars because the restaurant had walls and a roof.

The level of service here is unmatchable, and that says a lot coming from someone born and raised in South Carolina, the most mannered state in the US! Now, let's talk food 🍽️. We started with the Ahi tuna and clam chowder. The tuna was, hands down, the best I’ve ever had. The clam chowder, while different from what I'm used to, was so rich and flavorful that I was blown away 🤯. For the main course, I had a ribeye steak 🥩, cooked to absolute perfection, while my wife had the lamb 🐑 and loved every bite. After a terrible day with our rental car breaking down on the way from Jackson Hole, dining here was a breath of fresh air 🌬️. The entire team, from the chefs to the hostess, made sure that all our stress melted away. They even brought us a cheesecake 🍰 to lift our spirits after hearing about our rough day. Such kindness and hospitality are rare to find. Spencer’s Steak is not just a restaurant; it’s an experience. An impressive experience. The NY Strip was one of the best I have ever had and I have had a lot of steaks across the US. It was a great cut, tender, fresh, cooked with a precision for medium rare that was balanced and even through the whole steak. Great service and a cool vibe. Nice was to close out a long week with one of the best steaks I have ever experienced.

I’ve lived in Utah my whole life going to very nice restaurants and I can easily say Connor and Marco easily had best customer service I’ve ever received, food was extremely fulfilling (compliments to the chefs!), atmosphere was amazing! We came to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday and now we will easily be coming back here each month, a must go!!
