O'Shucks Bar & Grill Ahh Sushi

Was in town and saw some good reviews, and they mentioned half price sushi during happy hours. Was a block away from our hotel, came by and was not disappointed. We ordered 4 sushi rolls and they were all delicious. We sat around the sushi bar as well, giving some great authenticity. Sushi artists are very good and helpful for any questions. Few notes, it is in a bar so you need an ID. My wife forgot hers in the hotel so we had to go back to get. Blame dresses for not having pockets. But still a note if you're walking like we were. Again, solid find for some great sushi. It is a steal during their happy hours.

Found this hidden gem at the first night in SLC because there were few restaurants open near my hotel during late night. Then, I came back for their half price and discounts at late night. The service is welcoming and the vibe is always amazing with a lovely bar and some other interesting things. Rolls taste not impressive, but still fresh at late night.

The sushi was just okay. Boyfriend enjoyed the Death Roll. The gyoza was great. The drinks were great as well. I just loved the concept of this bar. I also love that you had to walk down to enter. Great vibe and great service

My wife and I showed up here last minute after driving for hours and hours on our road trip and everyone was so nice and hospitable! Jacob and Arturo, the sushi chefs, were amazing and gave such good suggestions for us. Hailey our server was super nice and patient with us as we asked a million questions and ordered like 3 rounds of sushi 😆 On top of all that the value and taste of the food was unbelievable and exceptional. Thanks everyone! We will definitely be back!

Wow.... If you are in downtown Salt lake city this place is a must! What a Gem. I'm from Ventura Beach California and I've had Sushi everywhere all day everyday. The Sushi rolls here are one of a kind and deserve praise. Strawberry fields roll was the most unique roll I have ever tasted. "The Brooklyn Roll" and "keep it classy San Diego" were Amazing! Almost forgot...they sell legit Burgers too. Finally, Dawson the bartender gave fantastic service and recommendations. He has a great hospitality vibe and really provides an excellent experience for his customers! Give this Man a Raise! Thank you.

Somehow this Irish pub/sushi bar combo works in many ways… I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the rolls. Service was as expected- pub style but was quick and was friendly. Made it for dinner service but saw an amazing happy hour available throughout lunch and the evening. Would 100% come again!
