Moochie's Meatballs and More

Fire place, feels like you’re in Philly. Definitely have to try the original Philly cheesesteak - the meat is phenomenal, you can choose your cheese, and comes with onion, peppers, and mushrooms. The sweet potato fries were also some of the best I’ve had. Service was good, food came out quick and hot. Their sauces were also really good. Would definitely recommend the jalapeño sauce.

Paid $39 for two HUGE 16" Sandwiches stuffed with meat and cheese, a side of Mac and a side of Sweet potato fries, which was very filling for two people and pretty average price for two to eat in this economy. Staff were very friendly and helpful, service was prompt and the cashier was knowledgeable. Atmosphere was exactly what I would expect from a fast casual but the restaurant was extremely much more clean than what you would find at a philly shop in Philly so that was also awesome. The Philly was too notch, meatball sub was great with fantastic fresh marinara. Will certainly be returning for more.

Fries, cheese curds and fried ravioli were all excellent too. The dipping sauces are a nice touch. Definitely will return to try more of the sandwiches. Special bonus points for having Tastykake's on the dessert menu! #PhillyPhilly

I walked into the store on a very gloomy winters day. I was very hungry and once I walked in the door, I knew that I was gonna have one of the best sandwiches in my life. I just love the experience of Moochies. I came up to the counter and then and then I ordered the lady at the counter was so nice. She asked me what I wanted and I told her I wanted a 12 inch Philly and boy did I want that service was very quick. I sat down and then I started eating my sandwich. I love how they have specific sauce containers that you can just easily use. I love that aspect if I were to suggest Moochies to anybody ever, I would totally suggest it. It is the best sandwich shop in Utah. And the best in the whole country.

This review is for the meatball sub and fries: About $17 for a 12 inch sub (expensive) and the fries range $2-$3- we got the 50/50. For a Friday afternoon it wasn't crowded, and we waited at least ten minutes! We thought it would be much quicker. The portion of fries was not bad for the price, and we really enjoyed them with the fry sauce. The meatball sub was huge and incredibly messy! I wouldn't even take it to go. Overall we weren't that impressed. The bread wasn't sturdy and got soggy, the meatball was okay but nothing special, there weren't that many onions and the sauce was plain. I've had better meatballs at Italian restaurants and expected this place to have something great. We also thought the famous jalapeno sauce wasn't spicy at all. But I think if you are craving these kinds of subs, you may as well try it. I wouldn't go out of my way nor recommend it otherwise. Oh btw, Guy Fieri visited this place twice, if that makes you more or less interested.

It's worth every bit of the hype I've heard about the place. I try to visit 1 location. Guy Fieri has been to in each city I travel to. Moochies was so good. My wife and I had the original cheesesteak with onion rings. My daughter tried the pasta and then wanted to try our sandwiches she loved it also. Thank you for such a great lunch.
