The space is really unique and great atmosphere. Really enjoyed the live music. The food menu was a pretty minimal, not a bad thing in itself, but not a lot of choices for actual entrees. The cocktail I had wasn’t my cup of tea, but my wife’s Moab mule was good. I would come back for the atmosphere and music for sure though.

Great experience! The ambiance and atmosphere were fantastic. Their cocktail menu is impressive, with plenty of unique options to choose from. I tried the Monkey Business and Tropical Thunder, and both were delicious and well-made. The service was excellent. The staff was attentive, frequently refilling water and checking in on the table, and they were all very friendly and professional.Although I didn’t try the food, the dishes I saw looked appetizing. I’d definitely recommend Lake Effect if you’re looking for great cocktails and a welcoming atmosphere.

Melted in our mouths with that amazing custard sauce) and a mocktail (could have used less sweet and sour)so I can’t comment on food or their signature drinks, but the atmosphere alone and the live music are worth the visit!! Bartenders and staff were very friendly and attentive! Great experience!

I was here for a hosted event while I was in town for KubeCon NA 2024, so I can't really speak for their regular menu. But the staff was amazing, and their Mezcal Old Fashions were delicious as was the food. That atmosphere and vibe was great. Loved it!

Best Drinks in town! I always come here when I am in SLC. The atmosphere is excellent and super chill yet upscale. Drinks are amazing. The Nacho's are incredible! You defiantly get what you pay for, and this place is top notch, so expect to pay $15 on the cheap side for a drink, and $40+ for the higher end cocktails.

First time in SLC, and this location was next to my hotel. Wine selection was nice, and food options were great. Service was awesome, and the live music was the cherry on top.

Came for drinks - incredible bourbon selection. Little pricey. 6 drinks (lower end bourbon & cocktails) was $170 before tip. Our waitress was fantastic. Environment was spectacular and relaxing.
