A Delightful Sushi Spot with Cozy Booths & Great Vibes! Stopped by this charming sushi spot last night, and it was a fantastic experience! The space is super cute, with cozy little individual booths that make for a comfortable and intimate dining experience. We started with the pickled vegetables, which were a fresh and tangy treat, and I loved their homemade soy sauce--it added such a unique depth of flavor to everything. For sushi, we had the Lobster Roll, Mars Roll, and Rainbow Roll, all beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The mussel shooters were a fun and flavorful addition to the meal. Despite it being a Monday night, the restaurant was lively and full of great energy. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, making the experience even better. Can't wait to come back and try a Sake Martini!

Kyoto is one quintessentially unique japanese restaurant in salt lake. We loved the ambiance, seating is kind of japanese style. The variety of food they offer is great, service personnel were friendly and helpful. We loved their food and services

Food was great! Server was excellent. I got the chicken teriyaki and have enough left over for two more meals. The portions are huge. Friend chose the sushi ones and they said best they ever had. Walking distance to my place. Outdoor seating was perfect.

We had a great experience here tonight! Con: The only con was that we reserved a traditional style table, but there was a mixup and sat at a regular table. Oh well. Next time. And I think they could offer some Japanese whiskey. Pros: lots! The food is tasty, with good portions, and very reasonable prices. The sake is very good. We enjoyed our cocktails. Atmosphere is great! It’s nicely decorated with cool art everywhere. Our server was excellent!! Sean did such a good job helping us navigate the menu, and his recommendations were spot on. Even handling as many customers as he was, he made us feel important as guests. It was a great date night. Highly recommended for a night out!

My wife made me come here... I'm sooooo glad she did. Our waiter Sean suggested the Chicken Beef Curry....I got that..It was AMAZING! My wife got the Katsudon. It's one of her favorites. I think I found my new favorite Japanese restaurant in SLC.

I had dinner at Kyoto restaurant last night and had a pleasant experience. The greeting was warm, and there was seating available right away. The decoration was lovely, and the waitresses in traditional attire added a nice touch. The cleanliness was impeccable, with a nice smell throughout and clean bathrooms. The service was outstanding. The food was good but not particularly impressive, and the prices were average. Overall, a solid dining experience.

This place is legit! Some of the best Japanese food I've had in the US. The tempura was crispy and not at all oily, the unagi don was super flavorful and arranged really nicely, and my chirashizushi tasted super fresh and was also arranged like an art piece! They even serve hot tea in a pot for free if you ask.
