We came on a very busy Friday night and were very quickly sat at the chefs counter. The ability to watch as the chefs did their art was fascinating and entertaining all in one! Our server Elissa was so sweet and wonderful! I had dropped a glob of butter on my shirt and she saved the day by bringing me a little cup of salt and told me a trick to get oil out of my shirt! She was so so great and attentive. Our food was delicious! We got the meatloaf and the burger. Both meals left us speechless! 10/10 would recommend and we will DEFINITELY be back!

Good food and good service. While their CC Burger won’t win any awards, it is a very solid cheeseburger. Wednesday is half-priced burger night, so $6 instead of $12. Their Number Eleven cocktail is very good and worth a try. I’ll have to come back and try more of their menu.

All the bartenders had tiny itty bitty hands when I went. I was like “what the heck?!” Why is it that everyone’s hands are so small. There’s gotta be a reason to it. Anyway, oysters were yum. (Update 2/1/2025) I received a quantity of oysters from a very friendly member of the staff of this tavern and noticed that she had perfectly symmetrical and robust hands, breaming with vitality. Very capable of shaking beverages with adequate rhythm and ferocity. Service was 10/10. Would recommend to a friend. (Update 12/15/2025) I recently visited and noticed that a few of the beefier bartenders had large muscular hands. Very capable of shaking multiple cocktails and perhaps even fighting my step dad. Oysters on par with previous visit.

Very fun 1930s vibe with old black and white movies playing on TV, huge bar, simple tables and a very vintage feel. The food is comforting and has an almost Southern vibe. It is a bar so 21 and older and they scan your driver's license. I went with colleagues. We shared a salad, which was amazing with peach slices and fried cheese. We also shared the potatoes which were so crispy and delicious. The crab biscuits were light and yummy but little crab. We also split an 8 oz steak which was tender and delicious. Everything was yummy and they staggered bringing it out. I don't drink but I got ice water in a frozen glass that was the most refreshing water I've ever had. It was a delightful evening. The staff were kind and helpful.

I aDore this place. It's never too busy, great food, and amazing staff. The place is very classy but it's not over priced. The staff are all very friendly, fun, and authentically lovely people. I'm almost afraid to share this review because this place is my favorite spot in salt lake city and I wish I could keep it as my very own personal hangout.

I came here with my spouse for dinner on a Friday evening. We made a reservation since it is a smaller place. Our waitress was very helpful and got to us very fast. She gave us a really good recommendations. We ordered oysters, focaccia bread, the lamb meat balls, the miso pasta, and the cookie butter sundae. Everything was tasted and looked amazing. The oysters were very yummy! Definitely worth it!

Came here for drinks and dessert at the end of the night and had the best time! Their menu is so unique, it was hard to pick just a few things. Our waitress Annika was super knowledgeable about the wine list + cocktails. She recommended a cocktail with green chartreuse that we’d never heard of and it was fantastic! The beignets were great, all around phenomenal experience. Highly recommend!!

We stopped in on a Saturday night on a trip through SLC and it was great. My husband had the burger, and I had the fried chicken. And we shared the smashed potatoes, which are pretty much French fries, but different than usual fries. I also had a Supply Chain issue cocktail which was delicious. Everything was pretty damn good, and our waiter was super nice. I would for sure come again.
