My husband and I went yesterday Feb 15th to eat a Valentine dinner. Our server, Ike, was very accommodating. I ordered a fillet mignon medium well. I was hungry and thirsty when I got there. I drank lemonade with some bread and butter. I order tortilla soup as a side and sweet potato. The steak took a while to get to the table. I was full with bread and soup. I took a bite of my steak but did not want it and took it home. The same night I had a bad stomachache. I did not think nothing of it. The next day I got my food out to eat it and I could smell a spoiled smell. I cooked it but when it came out it smelled real bad. I thought this place was a good steak house to go to. I am pretty sure Mr Fertitta would not be happy with how his steaks are cooked.

One of our favorite local restaurants, stopped in today for a quick after church dinner and got the best service , Dana answered some questions to help me try something I normally don’t order and she didn’t steer me wrong the grilled shrimp and asparagus were amazing, my wife got the Ribs and also to die for. And even during a busy time our food came quickly and perfectly prepared. Great Food Great Server and Great atmosphere for a great lunch with the love of my life.

I called Saltgrass Steakhouse 1 1/2 weeks ago to confirm that I could use my Door Dash business credit while dining in; the representative I spoke with confirmed that I could do so without hesitation. My family of five went to Saltgrass Steakhouse in Sugar Land for lunch today, and I immediately informed our waitress of my plan of payment. Our waitress discussed my payment method with the manager who in turn supposedly asked another manager. To my surprise, they declined such payment method. I showed the manager my $100 balance and the fact that the program allowed for “pick up.” I asked him why they couldn’t just place the food on a plate instead of on a styrofoam carton. He denied my request. I didn’t want to suffer the embarrassment of unseating my family, so we just decided to stay and pay for the meal without using the business credit. Only 3 of the 5 meals which were brought to the table were correct. One of my daughters received her last item by the time I finished my meal. A restaurant business should go above and beyond to make sure their customers are completely satisfied. If a representative confirms a customers previous inquiry, it should be honored. We drove an hour just to be forced to pay out of pocket for poor service. The steaks were average at best.

Absolutely! Here’s a glowing review for Salt Grass Steak House highlighting Ray’s exceptional service: --- I recently had the pleasure of dining at Salt Grass Steak House and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the stage for a delightful evening. The star of our visit was undoubtedly Ray, our server. Ray’s warm and genuine demeanor made us feel right at home. Her attentiveness and attention to detail were nothing short of amazing. She went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was perfect in every way. Her recommendations were spot on, and she took the time to explain the menu, making sure we were well-informed and comfortable with our choices. The food, of course, was outstanding. The steaks were cooked to perfection, tender and bursting with flavor. The sides were equally impressive, complementing the main courses beautifully. However, it was Ray’s exceptional service that truly elevated our experience. She made us feel valued and appreciated, turning a great meal into an extraordinary one. Thank you, Ray, for your wonderful service and for making our visit to Salt Grass Steak House so memorable. We will definitely be returning and recommending this gem of a restaurant to our friends and family!

Great place. It's a family owned business, but it definitely feels like a longhorn, the food was great and the service was even better. I would go back if I had the chance.

Had the best Saltgrass experience yet! Ike and the rest of the team went above and beyond to make our meal exceptional. Great service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere—couldn’t have asked for more. We’ll definitely be back!

We came in at 8.45 on Saturday night. Our server Dana was apologizing that the food and drinks are taking longer. When they came out, the sides were cold. Then she forgot that we requested another bread. When we were still working on our meal Dana brought us the check. And kept coming back asking if we are ready to pay out? Then she told us verbatim that we need to finish our drinks quickly, cos they are closing. She never picked up dirty and empty plates, so there was No space on the table by the end of it. We were pretty much broomed out by 10.15. I totally understand the hectic Saturday night and everyone wanting to go home. However, we came in ahead of time and if food came out earlier, we’d be done before 10pm. there are more than one way to relate the same message. And it is completely unnecessary to be rude.
