Customer Review Summary
Perry's Steakhouse & Grille is highly praised for its Pork Chop Lunch Special, a generous 18-ounce portion served with creamy mashed potatoes and homemade applesauce, all at a reasonable price. Many reviewers rave about the impeccable food quality, with some suggesting it deserves a Michelin Star. While the atmosphere is generally pleasant, a few diners feel the pop music detracts from the fine dining experience and suggest offering live music instead. Although the restaurant can be pricey, patrons find the food's excellence justifies the cost, and the portions are substantial enough to encourage sharing or leftovers. Service is consistently noted as attentive and accommodating, enhancing the dining experience. Special occasions are celebrated warmly, with complimentary desserts being a common highlight. Some reviewers mention the ambiance being slightly dark, making it difficult to see food clearly, but overall, the experience is affirmatively positive, making it suitable for special occasions and date nights.

A Culinary Masterpiece: Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille’s Pork Chop Lunch Special I recently had the pleasure of indulging in Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille’s renowned Pork Chop Friday Lunch Special, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. For just $19, this incredible deal offers a generous 18-ounce pork chop, served with creamy mashed potatoes and a delightful homemade applesauce. The pork chop, a marvel of culinary craftsmanship, is cured, roasted, slow-smoked, and caramelized to perfection, boasting a smoky, wood-fired flavor that is simply irresistible. The combination of the tender, juicy meat with the sweet applesauce and rich mashed potatoes is a match made in heaven. Whether you’re a foodie on a budget or simply looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Perry’s Pork Chop Friday is a must-try.

We love LOVE LOVE the food here!!! On another point though I think that the music was too “pop” for my ideal eating experience at a fine-dining restaurant. When I sit at my table, taking in the mood, atmosphere, the smell of great food all over the place… I’m imagining live music (piano, violin, cello), not “pop” music being played loudly. So firstly, the food is worth the money. I would recommend a Michelin Star for the quality of the food. However, I believe live music would take it up another level.

I love the food here, and wish I could enjoy it more, but it's a tad pricey. Let me say I am NOT a huge fan of pork. I mean, I'll eat some bacon with my breakfast. But, this pork chop? It's PERFECTLY cooked and, OMG.... is it delicious! The applesauce is a nice touch, as it pairs very well with the pork. It's almost unnecessary though. Slap a tad more potatoes on my plate, especially since the pork chop is so big, and that would be enough. But I suppose that's done purposely so you order another side... Which I, of course, did. The fried asparagus topped with crab meat is good, although the plate doesn't stay hot for very long. You must be starved to eat it all on your own, or expect to take home leftovers if you don't bring someone to split it with. Don't expect to get out of the restaurant for under $100 (including tip). My friend and I arrived around 430, so still light outside, sat in the bar area, and ordered a drink. It was much more lively, with people enjoying happy hour, but once the sun started to go down, the lights were lowered and the conversation volume went down, too. While the crowd got significantly larger, it was also subdued and more intimate. Overall, we had a great time. Our server was attentive, although his shift ended before we were finished with our food. I went ahead and paid so he could handle his closeouts, which I'm kind of glad he did (the drinks are expensive!). Perry's is a fantastic place to go to when you've had a long week and need a treat. It's also perfect for a date.

I Chose Perry steakhouse to celebrate my birthday because it’s a larger chain in Houston, they give promotions and there was a promotion on the day of my birthday. The pork was tender with tons of flavor the mash potatoes was more whipped then I favor but still good I got a complimentary desert the bread pudding but honestly I should have chose the cheesecake that was suggested Overall I do not regret it great price good entree and free desert for your birthday. The manager allowed me to try the fries the fries are super delicious. The service was great I loved the experience it was special at the end a a birthday card was given

Our first time (this past summer) was great, especially due to our lovely server. I wish I could remember her name so I could give a shout out. It was her first night on her own, and we were her first table. She took the time to explain the menu and ensured everyone knew my food allergies. It was pricey but totally worth it for impeccable service and food. Tonight was our second visit. The DH and I went in to celebrate our 2nd anniversary ❤️ Right off the bat, I knew we chose the right place as the hostess asked if we were celebrating anything special, and when seated our table was adorned with rose petals. Our waitress, Raydeen, greeted us warmly and mentioned our anniversary. She was incredibly attentive, jovial, and very calm under pressure (especially being a busy Friday night). The food was perfect and so tasty! Everything was cooked wonderfully--DH had steak and lobster, I had the chicken oscar (I highly recommend the mashed potatoes and steaks). It was a bit of a wait for our food as they were incredibly busy, but everything tasted so good I didn't care about the wait. We were pleasantly surprised to be offered a complimentary dessert due to our anniversary. It was a beautiful dark chocolate fudge cake and oh so good! It was so nice to be treated so well and to have the little touches. Thank you for making our special night even better. Highly recommend going to Perry's for any special occasion, date night, or even a random day where you want to splurge a bit.

Perry’s has a great ambience for any occasion. The spaces between tables are perfect. The restaurant gets busy during dinner time. My family got the escargot and 1/2 dozen grilled oysters as appetizers. I would get the oysters again. As for entrees, my partner and I got the Symphony Kabob and the 6oz Koji filet mignon respectively. There was a short warming up food show when the Symphony Kabob was served. The filet mignon was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The loaded whipped potato and the sweet sriracha Brussels sprouts were delicious. We ended our meal with the rocky road bread pudding. I loved the texture of the toasted homemade. marshmallow. The bread pudding was dense and when paired with the caramel sauce, the dessert was heavy. My server was Brandon and his service was excellent.

Lighting was a little dark and hard to see what we were eating. The legendary pork chop has great smokey flavor on the edges and ribs, but the center was bland. (maybe should inject some marinade in there?) The staff are friendly and attentive. Wish there was bread included while we wait for our starters.

Stopped here after a fitness competition so I was very hungry. The staff was amazing and attentive. Food was top notch and came out at just the right intervals. The steak was cooked perfectly as was the pork chop. The chocolate cake dessert was incredible, they even flambé the cherry sauce for it table-side, we mentioned that we'd like additional sauce for how large the cake slice was and they were happy to bring more for us to take home!
