Customer Review Summary

The food and drinks at Red Oak Kitchen are well-received, with highlights including chicken and waffles, mimosas, and excellent pizza options. Atmosphere feedback varies, with some finding it crowded and stuffy, especially in certain seating areas. While some dishes like the prime rib hash are missed when not on the menu, staff are attentive and accommodating, often going out of their way to fulfill customer requests. The restaurant is praised for its warm atmosphere, luxurious dining feel, and friendly service, contributing to a memorable dining experience. Cocktails are well-crafted, enhancing the overall meal, and many guests appreciate the quality, consistency, and flavor of the food, particularly items like shrimp, cedar plank salmon, and pork chops. However, some dishes like mac and cheese and steak seasoning received mixed reviews. Despite being on the pricier side, most patrons find the experience and food quality justifies the cost.

The food and drinks were great! One of the few places that actually serve chicken and waffles and mimosas. The atmosphere was ok. Inside vent really crowded. The front table is in a horrible spot. The covered patio area was really stuffy even on a cool day with all the fans on. They did have a cauliflower crust pizza option!

I've been here many times before. The entire menu is delicious. However, I tend to find myself here more so during breakfast/brunch hours. Every time we visit this establishment, we have a good time. The food is delicious and consistent, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is nice and vibrant. This last time we went, it was a bit more unique. Upon viewing the menu, I realized one of my most preferred brunch dishes was no longer on the menu: prime rib hash. I, however, asked the waitress if it were possible to still order it, and if not, I would gladly go with the steak and eggs. Smiling, she took my order and said she would ask the chef. Imagine my elation when she brought out my prime rib hash. I was so happy, it made my day. With a side of sausage, I enjoyed my meal. Though there was a slight wait, I could not let that get to me even the slightest considering the generosity of the staff in serving me an item not on the menu. Red oak continues to be one of my preferred restaurants to visit on special occasions and occasional brunches. I highly recommend people visit, and thank you so much to the staff that made my meal a reality.

This is by far the best pizza I've had around Odessa. For the price, it was well worth it and the overall atmosphere is great. I'm mad it's taken me this long to finally try this place and I'll definitely come back.

I have had many experiences at Red Oak Kitchen. Every time I have dined at this establishment I have quite literally been awed by the perfect Yin & Yang balance of a warm home feeling and luxurious dining. Last nights experience was, in any way, no different. Luckily we were able to be sat upstairs, and other than the patio, it is my favorite place to perch. Our waitress was outgoing and anticipated our needs without being in any way a hummingbird, and offered delightful banter. I loathe the fact that Lubbock Texas does not have such a place to congregate and have a peck at such high quality fares. Food for thought? I think so. I cannot depart without highlighting a beverage that came at the recommendation of our waitress, the WTX Mule. 🫠 Delectable.

Second time coming here since they first opened. Initially the first visit wasn't great but decided to give them another go since they've been opened a while now. First off there was a slight wait they were already getting busy (12pm) we sat at the bar and waited for our table. The bartender was excellent she knew what she was doing my husband always orders and old fashioned it was great. I tried the electric daisy that was tasty and not too much on the weak side. Later order a Cosmo bartender killed it again. We were called for our table the waitress Angelica was great. We had the shrimp for our appetizer oh my goodness they were so delicious we ate them all. Perfect crispyness and kick 🔥. I ordered the cedar plank salmon well done with Mac it was all so delicious I ate all my salmon. My husband had enchiladas and cauliflower both were excellent. It came with side of guac that was delicious too. Extremely happy with our meals, drinks and service. We will definitely come back. It did end out being a little pricey but totally worth it.

I can easily see why this establishment holds the top spot in Odessa. Right from the beginning, they go above and beyond to take care of you. The overall experience, from the delightful food to the excellent drinks and impeccable service, was truly exceptional. Michael, the manager, played a pivotal role in ensuring that everything went seamlessly, even going the extra mile by recommending a switch in our order to better suit a family setting. It was indeed a memorable night, making this place an excellent choice for a family dinner.

Absolutely great food and worth it being pricier. The deviled eggs were good and the bacon bit on top went great with the egg. The pork chops were phenomenal! The tangy, mustardy, herbal sauce on top paired very well and the mashed potatoes were very creamy and buttery. The cornbread was great with delicious chunks on corn baked inside! Spectacular stop!

The chips and guacamole are good, however the seasoning on the steak isn’t my favorite, it was cooked good and tender though. The Mac and cheese not impressive.spent about 71 dollars .
