Customer Review Summary

Mixed experiences were reported at M&S Seafood Steaks Oysters. Some diners enjoyed the Thanksgiving dinner and praised the filet mignon and mashed potatoes. Service received positive feedback, especially for attentiveness and assistance with wine selection. However, there were complaints about the knowledge of servers and inconsistencies in food descriptions. Dishes like Mediterranean baked feta and tuna tartare were criticized for poor execution and spiciness, respectively. The clam chowder consistently garnered praise as excellent, alongside the chocolate dessert. While the seafood was noted as fresh and well-prepared, some found the overall experience lacking, leading to an average rating of three stars from one reviewer.

We came here for Mother's Day last year and we found it delightful so we decided to come back to try some different things at happy hour today but found it wanting. Our server couldn't answer questions about pretty much anything. I asked about different dishes descriptions & his standard answer was "I have no idea." I tried the special "Pebble's and Pearls" drink which is expensive and it looks nothing like the picture. The alcohol seemed watered down. I'm a lightweight and it didn't even phase me. Then there was the food: we got a variety of happy hour items, including the Mediterranean baked feta, which was a little overdone , the edges were slightly burnt and nothing in the description said anything about a drizzle of what appeared to be the same sweet and spicy glaze from the crispy Asian calamari. (We also got the crispy Asian calamari) so that's how I know. I tried R. C.Ranch Wagyu Carpaccio and again nothing in the description said anything about arugula. The beef was smothered in arugula. There were some sort of seeds that were also not in the description and when I asked the server well, you can guess what he said. SMH They appeared to be tomato seeds, but there's nothing in the description about that either. I got the clam chowder. It was delicious and worth it. Great price for the amount you get. My husband got the cheeseburger. It was fantastic and definitely worth the price on the happy hour menu. We lastly had the Alaskan halibut. The risotto had cheese in it. I don't know if that's a thing my husband insists that risotto does. Nevertheless, should say it has cheese in the description when you consider people who are lactose intolerant, which I am not. The flavor: meh. All in all, I figured the experience, the food everything only warranted three stars.

Thanksgiving Dinner was amazing. The filet Mignon was delicious and well seasoned along with the asparagus. Mashed potatoes were perfectly buttered and seasoned. The rest of the family had no complaints. Kids ordered seconds to go that’s how good it was.

They have the freshest and most delicious ones I've eaten in Texas...the food is very good and the plating is beautiful to look at...The service is a little slow but the waiters are very friendly.

Truffle fries with no truffle. Tuna tartar so spicy it will burn your taste buds. Burgers, are ok…

We just had the best service with Nikki at the bar. She was incredible. The food was amazing. I highly recommend I don't the clam chowder. It's incredible. The muscles were really good as well. Save room for dessert. They have a chocolate bag with fruit and white chocolate. Moose that is to die for. It comes in a little bag that is made of chocolate. It's incredible. This is an experience dessert!

They must have a very good chef as the food is so exquisite and the menu options are great. We also love to frequent this restaurant as the service is always refined, like Valeria, who was our server today. Mr. Johnathan is always very attentive to make sure our dining needs are properly met. We highly recommend this restaurant.
