Great birthday experience at Mastro’s! The waiters were all extremely welcoming and insightful with all wines and food recommendations. We were seated in a nice quiet area where it was more intimate with a Christmas tree to light the room up. Food was perfect. Portions are definitely big here so you’ll be having a to go box like we did. Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

So today was my husband’s and I first time here and I must say, I absolutely adored this place. Around 4 I reserved a table for two for 6p.m (while on the way there). We did valet parking and walking into the building it was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the hostess walked us to our table and right away they brought us water. Presented us with menus and took our order. The appetizers came out fast and it was delicious. The quail with the sauce also the it comes with and also the lambchops were so good. Everything was so delicious. It’s very upscale and has dress code but definitely worth it! I can’t wait to go again!

If six stars was an option Mastros would have it! 10/10 The best steak house I have been to in Houston. The atmosphere is amazing. The service was impeccable. Adam provided exceptional service and recommendations for our meal, everything was timed perfectly and cooked to perfection.

Mastros is great every single time! The waterfall table is the best seat in the house! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The caviar, stone crab, steak, all excellent

I celebrated my birthday at Mastro's and everything was absolutely perfect!!! The service, food, music and ambiance was top tier!!! Everyone there made me feel so special from the time I arrived until the time I left. They even called the next day to ask about my experience at the restaurant. Special thanks to my server Rich for such amazing service!!

My first time going to Mastros was absolutely amazing. The waiters were very informative and paid attention to our table the whole time. It was pretty loud, which made it tough to hear, but the atmosphere was so rich with people having a genuinely good time.

🥩🐟 Love it! 😊 Mastro’s Steakhouse is an absolute gem in Houston! 🥩💎The vibe here is unmatched—everyone is dressed to impress, giving the place a luxurious and fancy atmosphere that’s hard to find in the city. The live piano music 🎶 🎹 adds to the sophisticated ambiance, making it a perfect spot for a special occasion. ❤️ Our waiter was fantastic, especially with it being our first visit. He explained everything thoroughly, helping us choose a bottle of wine 🍷and our meals. My boyfriend, who is a steak connoisseur, said it was the best steak he’s ever had (and he’s tried them everywhere)! I ordered seafood, and it was equally delicious. To top it all off, they surprised us with a complimentary butter cake to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. It was warm, buttery, and absolutely divine. 🧁🤤🎉 While it’s on the pricier side, it’s worth every penny. We’ll definitely be returning. Mastro’s is now one of our favorite places to dine in Houston! LOVEEEEEE 😋

If I could give zero stars, I would. My girlfriend and I went to Mastro’s for Valentine’s Day, expecting a high-end dining experience, but instead, we got long waits, mediocre food, and the absolute worst valet service I’ve ever encountered. First, despite having a reservation, we had to wait in line for over 30 minutes just to be seated. What’s the point of a reservation if it doesn’t guarantee a table on time? The food? Completely meh. For the price, you’d expect something extraordinary, but it was nothing special…certainly not worth the premium price tag. Now, the valet situation was a complete scam. They have two pricing tiers: VIP ($30) and Regular ($8). I specifically requested VIP, expecting my car to be parked conveniently in front where there was plenty of space. Instead, the valet parked it in the regular section anyway…. yet when we finished our disappointing dinner and had to wait in the cold to retrieve the car, they still tried to charge me the full $30 VIP fee. Absolutely dishonest and unacceptable. Oh, and let’s talk about the dress code. Mastro’s makes a big deal about their “strict” dress policy, but it’s a complete joke. While we dressed appropriately, half the guests were in jeans and colorful t-shirts, and I even saw someone seated in open-toed sandals. If they aren’t going to enforce the dress code, why pretend to have one? Overall, this was one of the worst high-end dining experiences I’ve had in Houston. Overpriced, dishonest valet, subpar food, and zero regard for their own dress code. Do yourself a favor… spend your money somewhere that actually values its guests.
