We have the pleasure of experiencing this Korean restaurant (Karne) for Valentine’s Day! 🌹✨ It was absolutely beautiful, with a gorgeous aesthetic and fantastic music that set the perfect mood. The food was to die for, and the service was top-notch, definitely the best experience we’ve had in a long time. To top it off, we had the unexpected surprise of being served by the owner himself, which made the night even more special. We had no idea he was the owner! Overall, I’d give this place a solid 10 out of 10 recommend! If you’re looking for a memorable dining experience, and some good Korean food this is the spot! 🍽️❤️

I have never had a table side dining experience and let me tell you it was amazing!!! The service was exceptional and the steak was like butter!!! Beautiful decor, upscale feel without having to gussy up. Really, really enjoyed the experience. The "Grouch" drink was delicious and they didn't skimp on the alcohol.

An absolutely stunning of a celebration. Thank you for making our anniversary so special Tim and company! We dined and were delighted by the experience. The Japanese A5 was worth it. If you’re wondering if you should- you should. Don’t skip on the New England oysters either!

Karne Steakhouse left me feeling pretty underwhelmed. While the meat quality was undeniably great, everything else about the experience was just lackluster. The banchan (side dishes) were pretty uninspired and, to my surprise, there were no free refills—something you’d typically expect at a Korean BBQ spot. The interior is also trying too hard to be fancy, with this weirdly dark, almost nightclub vibe that didn’t really match the KBBQ experience I was expecting. To make things even stranger, almost everyone around us was ordering oysters… at a Korean BBQ place? It just felt off. Oh, and valet parking only—super inconvenient, especially when you’re already paying a premium. Speaking of expensive, the prices here are steep, and considering what you get (or don’t get), it doesn’t feel worth it. The meat might be good, but the overall experience just didn’t live up to the hype. There are better spots in Houston for Korean BBQ that won’t leave you disappointed.

We came for the HRW and had an excellent experience. The service was exceptional. Xavier, our server, was very attentive , friendly and made sure our needs were met throughout the meal. The steak was of high quality with fresh and fantastic flavors that truly stood out. The atmosphere of the place was very inviting but a kind of loud. Overall it was a pleasant dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable dinner.

Amazing quality, amazing service, amazing food. Everything was delicious, the staff was friendly and attentive. The meat was cooked to order and our waitress’s recommendations were on point every time. We loved it, the experience was worth the price.

Tim and Tartar were the best things about Karne! Tartar was the best I’ve ever had, as was the nightcap. Everything else was ok. The Korean flavors were there, but either overpowering or underwhelming. It was a bit hit or miss. Would I come here again? I wouldn’t go out of my way, but if I was in the mood for tartar, and in the area, I would come here in a heartbeat and order three for myself and call it a night! PS, the presentations are appealing and atmosphere is relaxed, cozy, and intimate while still being casual.
